Last night the Deputy Mayor selling the RFK stadium changed her primary argument from "this is a slam dunk investment" to "we have do SOMETHING RIGHT NOW to change the national narrative about DC." Which is a pretty good summation of just how vibes-based the Bowser admin is about a lot of policy.

Hey here's a "what's wrong with Gen Z men" theory: successful school anti-bullying efforts perversely meant most Gen Z kids got little personal exposure to bullying, and thus find assholes and bullying behavior like Trump, Andrew Tate etc. thrilling instead of tiresome and shitty.

So the event was held at a Jewish Museum, was intended for Jewish Attendees (not Israelis), and was led by an interfaith coalition supporting refugees (including in Gaza). This was unquestionably an antisemitic hate crime.
