@Nonilex Oh gee, if only there were some Republican doctors in the Senate who could have prevented RFK Jr. from becoming the head of HHS in the first place!!!
Cassidy needs to shut up or do something about it. These protestations are overflowing with hypocrisy.

@pixelpusher220 @GottaLaff The filibuster always looks better when one’s party is in the minority and worse when in the majority.
I think it’s anti-democratic, but I’m very glad that Democrats are wielding it right now, and preventing almost all legislation from going through.

@pixelpusher220 @GottaLaff Dems don’t have the “fortitude” to do it?
I hate to tell you this, but even if every Democrat in the Senate was “The Rock” on steroids, they don’t have enough votes to block a reconciliation bill.
In FACT, their FORTITUDE is forcing Republicans to put so many […]

@randahl He signs his name s if we don’t know. He says “thank you for your attention to this matter” as if he’s sending out an overdue water bill notice.
So glad Jake Tapper spent all his time writing about an old president instead of the SENILE president in charge now.

@GottaLaff Then why did he get America involved? Even the idiotic stooges in his cabinet were smart enough to tell him not to do this. And he did it anyway... and now he's mad.
Jake Tapper is a moron. The truly senile president is in office RIGHT NOW. Where is the exposé on that?!?!?!

@cdarwin He said he still stands by Trump. But he wants Trump to stand by him?
So he’s ok with Trump deporting everybody EXCEPT his wife. Because HE is exceptional? He’s an exceptionally huge jerk, that’s for sure.

@GottaLaff When the people take power back, it might not be through an election. And those who denied others due process might not be afforded it themselves.

@Nonilex This administration is pure evil. They knew how many lives this could cost and did it anyway, firing anybody with even one iota of a conscience.

@johnpfaff.bsky.social They are banning DEI because they say it focuses on race instead of merit. But they give this student a prize for the most disgusting possible example of focusing on race instead of merit.
There’s nothing neutral about what’s happening there.

@emptywheel.bsky.social How pathetic that The NY Times and Washington Post couldn’t muster anything even close to this.
They were just pantsed by a Murdoch rag when it comes to exposing the Nazis in the current presidential administration.

@cdarwin You have to get halfway through the op-ed before the author admits this: “Since Democrats are in the minority in both chambers, they can’t force a vote on authorizing war.”
I am so tired of the pointless bashing of Democratic politicians for stuff they literally haven’t been given the […]
