And the worst part about the litter box stories is that they are for school shooting lockdowns. Maybe give them this article? time.com/5658266/colo...

Traditionally that part of Lanark County didn’t. It used to be very rural, small farming villages but has changed a lot in the last 20 years, more suburban. Bruce did the same retail politics for the last year, door to door that Pierre did in 2004 to oust David Pratt, a sitting minister.

Either way, this is going to be an election result like the Great Big Sea song Clearest Indication. « like a country divided 51 to 49 ».

This is so cool! Where did you get the image?

Can you tell me about the permissions you have for these paintings? I’d love to use them to teach my students but I don’t want to infringe on someone’s copyright.

And what happens if the Conservatives lose and the trucker convoy comes back to town?

Okay, yes, do that. Polls don’t elect people, ballots do. And then we all collectively hold our breath.

I am sending you all my hugs. This timeline sucks.

And yet the handful of kids who are transgender are a bigger problem to a section of the population than other issues that affect far more people. I am tired of politicians using anger to harness power.

Feels also like an opportunity to do something with Sunglasses Carney?

Longest Ballot Committee group are advocating for electoral reform. They organized it so 91 candidates ran in LaSalle-Ɖmard-Verdun (Montreal) Sept. 2024 and 84 in Toronto-St. Paul's Feb.2025 by-elections. They wanted to do the same in Carney’s riding but didn’t have enough time. It’s a protest.

I was thinking this guy for Heritage Minister.

You should read the rest of the chapter and see about the other campaigns they did together! Really good book.

Poilievre has been working with Levant since 1998. When he was 19. Page from Mark Bourrie’s Ripper.

Likely more some sort of baseball-like signal. I feel this idea would make for a hilarious This Hour Has 22 Minutes skit. #cbc

Maybe we should start framing it in the same terms our kids are learning. Many schools use Zones of Regulation to teach about emotions. Red is the out-of-control zone. Anger and rage are in the red zone. Why are allowing ADULTS to act and react in out-of-control manner?

We need to help get out the vote!!! He won’t be done if people don’t show up. We need to help everyone to get to vote.

ā€œI printed these months ago. This isn’t the election we had planned.ā€ Translation, we can’t pivot to meet the moment now and probably couldn’t if we were elected to be in charge.

There are nurses and doctors from the past coming to haunt our society because we aren’t using solutions they never had. We need a campaign of memoirs and pictures of what is was like before we could save the kids. Death has gotten less immediate in our everyday lives so we have become complacent.

Poilievre won against Pratt in 2004 by doing uber retail politics, tons of door to door. Bruce Fanjoy has been doing the same since July, while Poilievre has been touring the country instead. It’s not the same riding it was 20 years ago. Lots of farms sold and new developments in their place.

I feel like I have done this while shopping with my kid when he was little. The day he tried to ā€œliberateā€ someone else’s grocery bags because ā€œthey looked like oursā€ definitely felt high sensory.

I love this video. Shows why axe the tax results in disenfranchised people in society. How we spend money, and from where and whom we collect it, shows what we value as people.

And that is definitely a fear.

So a quick search found both have chartered planes, but Poilievre’s plane was wrapped early. Carney’s plane couldn’t be brand wrapped before his first flight. I think Carney shouldn’t brand his plane. Great visual of he who wants to serve versus he who is willing to harness anger to gain power.

That will only be true if people vote. Make a plan. Make everyone you know have a plan about voting. Help get out the vote!

This!!! Even when politically oppposed, statesmen treated each other with a modicum of respect. It feels like some people don’t feel that is at all needed anymore.

I feel like many here need to go outside, turn around three times and spit for tempting the wrath of Whatever from the high atop the Thing. Polls don’t vote. Make sure we get out the vote.

Everyone needs to make a plan to vote. And get everyone they know to make one too.

So first that made me laugh. Then I wondered if you would need a third party status because it’s technically an election sign. Then I laughed at the ridiculousness of that thought. Great sign!
