Every day calls for soup dumplings. If we’d let her, they’re all our daughter would eat.

I’m right with you there. I was pretty horrified by all of the Gordon talk on TAW, since he’s always struck me as a Richarlison / Fernandes wannabe. Diving, whining, and general knobheadery should not be entertained.

I need a good Yorkshire pudding recipe. My grandmother refused to write any of her recipes down.

That sounds amazing. I’ve got a North African stew with beef, lentils, and greens going right now but might have to make some couscous to go with it.
Seasonings for the stew include garlic, onion, coriander, cumin, paprika, and sumac.

Thank you so much for making a kid-friendly version of your book. I can’t wait for the conversations this provokes amongst a bunch of precocious soon-to-be 4th graders.

I read this as “guns” at first and was very concerned about how much Nutella (and cocaine) you’re wasting

Saw Paul McCartney in Quebec during the city’s 400th anniversary celebrations. Filling the Battlefields Park with dancing, singing, and joy (along with every street and shop in the city) was unbelievable.

Why is any part of Lake Tahoe private?! The entire shoreline should be state park lands.

It needs to be made permanent, and defacing it needs to be considered a hate crime.

Have a great time.
I used to love DMB shows, but the number of weekend warrior GenXers who couldn’t handle their drinks or drugs just kept going higher and higher.
Shoes full of someone else’s cocktail was finally too much.

Fine him. Ban him. Ostracize him to the point he can’t get a public facing job.

Buddy!
I love this album but the re-released “Buddy” single plus the “Me, Myself and I” 7-inch are almost all I need.

Missiles and Degeneration Street, and the associated tours, after that made me a forever fan.

I once heard someone describe Murray as “like if Morrissey were a good person,” and I can’t unhear it.
Gang of Losers played on repeat in the Virgin Megastore in San Francisco when it came out, and I used to take my lunches there just to listen and chat with the staff.

Please take care of yourself. Find a good physical therapist (once you’re cleared for PT) and do everything they ask. Diligence and persistence with those exercises can make a literal lifetime of difference.
Every session of homework I miss means more pain and less mobility. When I do it, it works

Stereophonics back in April.
It’s been way too long. I once saw 100 shows in a year. Now 6+ would be great.

I need a way to edit posts so bad.
Made it out for a little bit of our local West Seattle protests, but it’s been a long day. Third time trying to post this without typos is hopefully the charm.

It’s almost like you pulled your description straight out of my head. I love this song for its own brilliance but also because it introduced me to Pulp as a whole.

John Lithgow walked his dog on campus regularly when I was there. The dog was very friendly with all of us studying on the grass in front of Powell.
