I think the same is true in Iceland. The part about falling into a pool of lava, not the part about following regs. I think Icelanders know enough to stay away from volcanoes. The idiots who push their luck are tourists.

Piffle would be a good cat name. There’s a FB group called “Would be a good cat name” and there were lots of people whose cats had good names. I found it kind of disturbing, although I frequently did advocate naming a cat “Panko.”

I lost both a very dear friend and my brother a few years ago. Both died suddenly of heart issues. When I have moments of missing them, I think how much worse it must be for their widows, whose entire lives were tied up with someone who was suddenly gone.
