Happy birthday Matto!

Great, so you are well-aware of how motion blur is incorporated in videos. Unfortunately that's not something desired in video games. The sole fact that the vast majority of people choose to disable motion blur in games is evidence enough that the extra image clarity isn't something we can't process

I IMPLORE you to play something on a 165Hz monitor for an hour, then lower it to 30Hz and say that again.

I see five Dark Vipers outside their natural habitat

Zomboid is one of the few games that packs the true fear expected from a hardcore survival game. From the first time you cut your hands jumping through a window, panicking as you try to figure out what to do; you always know that your end is only one wrong step away..

NSFW; too adorable. Lowers your work performance

Second monitor, sure. But calling it merely "background noise" is a bit unconfident imo. If the video deserved this much effort then it also deserves the viewers' attention too. Will definitely watch a good chunk of it today.

I woke up and contemplated working out. Does that count?

Ah yes, another genre Fortnite is going to be "inspired" by. Was hoping I'd seen the last of that in their knockoff, overly monetized version of Rock Band.

Not true. Say, you're running your games on a virtual machine, and keep all your important files on your main OS. Kernel-level anti-cheat isn't the "perfect solution to eradicate cheaters" either, as evident by the games that incorporate them. I'd rather keep as much privacy as I can, thank you.

It's got yet another kernel-level anti-cheat. One that people say doesn't get removed when you uninstall the game.. I doubt there will ever be a Linux support with something like that as part of the game.

Yep.

Don't worry, we won't tell anyone about your "death", nor the "witness protection" after that.

(I'm just joking, hang in there mate)

Technically, the third one is the correct answer nonetheless

Not to mention, motorized utilities (or anything that needs to be magnetized to start up) won't work at all without reactive power.

I'll have a Subreon with extra Sp. Atk, please.

Really stretching the use of 'just' there

I have to go with 1. Hear me out: A kilo of anything is 1000 but memory size is in the powers of two, 1024 being the closest to a kilo. However, there are very few cases in which that 2.4% error is going to matter, and it's much simpler to say for example a MB is a million and not 1,048,576 bytes

You either get an amazing deal on shampoo, or a free scratch mark on your face.

My first assumption was the notoriety that Twitter/X has gotten itself, but I could be wrong..

Place bsky where X would be on your phone. Then, not even your muscle memory can take you back to that godforsaken place

It's easy to lose yourself obsessing over the complications you make for yourself.. Even "letting go of things" has become such an unreachable thing, we forget how easy/enjoyable it can be.
