Aww man! I’m actually trying to get an indivisible group together for our district, especially with the upcoming special election - I think it’s important now more than ever.

Are you in NY? I’m in upstate, just outside of Albany and we too are very red in my district. Elise Stefanik is currently my rep…🙄
But organizing doesn’t always mean protesting - Indivisible and some of the other resources they share have ways to fight back even from your home.

Ahh, gotcha. Indivisible was how I was made aware, I cannot recommend them enough. They put out so much great information consistently and have local divisions to work at the local and national levels - they’ve kept me so energized in this fight

So incredibly proud to have been a part of this today. Protested in Albany, but stood together with my fellow citizens to say no to tyranny, no to nazis, no to billionaires stepping on our necks to raise themselves up higher. No to oppression, no to writing off LGBTQ+ members and migrants. HELL NO!

Either, it’s more than just costly. We aren’t the only country that has strict requirements for immigrants to enter their country. Nor does everyone just want to up and leave their loved ones, even if it means staying and suffering.

Also have you spoken to other targeted people right now? Native Americans for example. They are equally as scared. So who is next? And what happens when people who are already struggling, living paycheck to paycheck can’t keep providing material means? Are we then fucked?

I plan to be an absolute PITA. I’m calling Rep Ogden every day about his 3rd Trump term legislation to make sure he knows he’s a traitor to our Constitution and the people. I’m calling and emailing my reps everyday to demand they do something. Will it work? Probably not, but I’ll piss them off 🤞

For those that didn’t vote, suspect many feel that their vote doesn’t actually matter. I’ve heard that from folks numerous times since the election and I can truly understand why someone would have that perspective. The electoral college is antiquated and I think plays a big part.
