Ah, yes - I called it “the yawlp that destroyed a campaign”.
Democrats must be perfect. Republicans can defecate on butcher paper and the press would call it fine art.

I'm sorry, what does a multi-BILLIONAIRE know about the middle class? See also, Yang, Andrew.

Maybe, if we're realllly fortunate, their egos will destroy each other before they completely destroy the country and God knows what or who else.

Sorry I read too quickly. I followed the vote in real time too - my state chair, Shasti Conrad, made it to the final ballot. Chair Martin appointed her to a VC position after she did not get any of the spots.

I can respect that. Am taking the liberty of adding Rep. Lauren Underwood's work. That woman is amazing.

That prospect scared the ish out of them, and they had been trying to muscle her out since the first time she ran as POTUS. That subpar debate performance gave them the pretense they needed, with a solid pernicious assist by our nihilistic press.

came out for President Biden when it was clear he wasn't backing down on championing a WoC as first his running mate and then as a POTUS candidate in her own right (although I believe the plan was 2028, and if he couldn't finish his second term, she would). 2/

While I do not agree with Ms. Jean-Pierre's ultimate course of action (to become an independent), I agree with your assessment of her comments. This tracks with my own premise that there are ppl in the party who are every bit as racist and misogynistic as a MAGAt, and I believe that the knives 1/

I think there’s legs to the theory that Musk wants this thing to fail and there not be a CR, so that the nation will go into default.
Dude just wants us broken. That’s how messed up his mind is.

abt how the fam will be going through enough grieving as it is, so don’t be making assumptions.
Technically she’s correct, but there’s an argument to be had that we will be apologists for the vilest of men… up to and including family annihilators. And that’s GD deplorable.

To file under “WW are just as bad” - dude in our state is missing and presumed to have killed his three little girls during an unsupervised visitation weekend. I dared say, “First thing I heard when they girls were missing was that it was the father who took them.” I got tut-tutted by some WW 1/

*Possibly* CD plucked out that, according to your profile pic, you are in fact a WM. But that does not negate my statement as a whole.

annnnd CD has now joined my BLOCK party. I grant a mulligan for being that willfully ignorant, IF I'm in a reasonably good mood or feel it's a worthwhile teaching point for the gallery. CD is, for all intents and purposes, a full on MAGAt or a Russbot, possibly both.

WW here - take a whole stadium of seats, CD. Time to stop not-all-ing and let the remark made by one who belongs to a minoritized part of society land. Otherwise, you diminish their experience and center yourself, and that's not cool.

Back to voting. Voting is more than a right. It is a duty. It is also a duty for people to start using their damn brains and to stop voting their privilege (or stop non-voting because of their privilege). Those of you who sat it out are complicit in furthering the disenfranchisement of voters 3/

I am wondering where the cover is for the milk carton for 90 million missing American voters.
Or where the Wanted poster is for the GOP being co-conspirators to destroying the rule of law. 2/

Correction - the better word is "coincidence". If anyone has read Julia Cameron's "The Artist's Way", however, the mistake is understandable. 🙂

I’m unsure what the distinguishes left-wingers from the other two. Imo, progressivism and being a plain ol’ normie Dem are subsets of the left wing of the political spectrum. Although a self-proclaimed progressive who sneers at the Dems is, in my experience, 1/

I read more of that exchange. Mr Goldman is proof positive that not only MAGAts are members of a political cult. I think I may start calling it the cult of political populism. It would make a change from horseshoe theory, which is pretty much a circle and a law anyway.
