yeah, a lot of us in these circles seem to be really introverted IRL/dealing with mental health/other major things (makes sense given the characters we're drawn to 🤣) and that definitely gives its own weird community feedback loop sometimes. (on the flipside, it's nice to feel more understood)

personally i've been trying to leave comments/kudos myself and enjoy the happy results of that. tbh lately i've also been consciously chatting more (def. not only!!) with fellow writers who seem genuinely interested in my stuff in return, bc i *do* like that feeling of community.

🫂 you're not alone in that feeling!!! there are so many non-writing things that can factor in, from how mainstream/niche your concepts are, to your SM reach, to your timezone, that it's easy to spiral.
from my perspective the interactions on your stuff have always really positive and substantial 💛

I feel you 💛 there are a lot of different ways to be sex-positive dw. e.g. i love talking and reading about and considering the wide spectrum of sexuality in the abstract, but when it comes to personal things/specifics, i would usually only ever talk about them with a trusted, long-term partner.

oh i'm pretty sure i changed the summary for my longfic double digit times 🤝 but there's still no real way to measure if it's *better*/more accurate/is enticing more people to read so...then i would just wonder constantly if i should change it back.

summaries are the absolute worst. 🤝 even when you've written the damn thing you spend the whole life of the fic wondering if it 'grabs' people enough, or if it doesn't accurately represent the fic and therefore people might click away once they start reading 🙃

i often finish one of your fics and look at the word count and go ???!!!!?? because it’s only been a few thousand words and i feel like I’ve been immersed in so much more character-building and development and world-painting. you can establish a Vibe very fucking fast and i think that’s cool.
