I think "reduced" would have been a more understandable word than "degraded" (which literally means it got worse!) - I had to read that sentence more than once to understand what you meant :)

Also since it's general election voting day today, almost everyone has the day off (which makes a lot of sense, wish more countries did this!) - but the buses are still running like usual.

intensely repetitive and soul-destroying. sucks all the oxygen out of anyone actually trying to do this kind of thing for real... and if you search YouTube for things like this you will find dozens, if not hundreds of these, each one more awfully dull than the last 🤢

And of course the video was 100% AI-generated too, garish Hawaiian-themed "realistic cartoon" cats playing ukuleles etc. The lyrics were clearly just generated from "write an ocean-themed love song, make sure to mention tides, moonlight and beaches", ending up deep in the uncanny valley of writing 🤦

I've been enjoying it for my own personal projects' documentation, I like it a lot! Paired with GitHub you get a nice history and collaboration. I'm thinking of looking into writing plugins for it myself to fill any gaps I find...

If he says he needs to implement a new Input Handling System for your indie game? He's lying. Rewrite the animation systems? Lying. Event broadcast systems? Lying. You, the designer need something and he says actually it's impossible or unfeasible in this codebase? Almost certainly lying.
