Thank you 😘. That's the tidiest part of the garden, the rest is wilder (no mow May) I'd prefer it all wilder tbh but I let my husband cut that little bit of grass cos' it drives him nuts 😂.
Morgana is an only cat, she hates other cats apart from 'Squirticus' (not real name) a black tom cat.

We had always hoped to move to France, Brexshit screwed that up. I've had lectures from folk saying 'oh you still can, it's just a bit more challenging now etc etc!!'. That's not the point.

A Deform creature won our ward in the council elections, by 6 points WTAF. The Lib Dems got 15 seats out of 19 (I think). I know of two Deform voters cos' I spoke with them when I was out leafletting for the Lib Dems, both ex tories.

It was fortunate to have you around (plus a wildlife vet, I need to check if we have one here).
We have blackbird families here but that's a story for another day (spoiler, they all survived!).

I didn't know offspring did that, I just assumed the parents returned! I'm relieved ours didn't come back, the worry of finding the baby on the floor below was concerning (said offspring must have flown the nest ok).

Well, when I described the pink one last Christmas, they weren't convinced by my 'cranberries are healthy' argument. It kind of went 'WTAF is this abomination?' & I'd only read the description to them, not actually recreated it. Can't wait!!

That's actually rather good! We had pigeons build a 'nest' behind the satellite dish, it consisted of 6 twigs. I honestly don't know how the chick survived such a casual approach to parenthood!

We'd like to be somewhere less built up, don't mind a bit of a wreck. Dream house = medieval, inglenook fireplace, creaky uneven floors, doors, staircase, a couple of ghosts, outhouses etc. One can dream!! Hope you have a peaceful weekend!

We often see houses on the edge of villages & think, nope, you just know what's going to happen. Then, the dogs 🙄

Sympathise with you living next to a development.
After 15 years of being surrounded by 8 different neighbours constant building work, diy maniacs (all day weekend, every evening until late & bank holidays....). It finally stopped last summer, then the people at the back of us got a dog.......
