Guns DO kill people and a 30 round clip in a semiautomatic rifle allows you to kill lots of people more efficiently. I say this as a gun owner. The question is how do we stop the killing? People have a right to guns and people also have a right to be safe.

Tyson's concern is replacing workers should ICE show up. They don't care about the workers, their worried about their profits falling. It's always about the money.

And that's how you do it! Kudos to him. Democratic members in Congress needs to take notes.

Honestly, and I hope I'm wrong, but they're in cahoots with the GOP and we're being played by both sides. It's not a government of, by, and for the people anymore. I say again, I hope I'm wrong.

WTF does a mascara wearing hillbilly from Ohio know about the Confederacy? Asking as I'm from NC.

Wait, they're going to boycott Walmart? Where they going to go? Target? Whole Foods? You can't make this up! Hell, Hollywood couldn't make this up.

And yet you tell us shit we already know. Tell us, better yet show us, what you're going to do about it. Your hallway chats are getting lame.

Trump's idea of decor is like Liberace on crack! I just can't with him.

We've had two different sets of hatchings so far this spring in our ferns. Amazing!

I was born and raised Southern Baptist (I'm from NC). Then I observed how they treated others and walked away from the church. I love God but ain't much of a fan of some of his followers.

And your point? You saw this coming yet couldn't get your ducks in a row to win an election. And your members in Congress are writing letters and chats in a hallway. That the best you got?

No, this is what it looks like when Congress aids and abuts a President with ill intentions. Politicians don't care about the people because we don't give them vast sums of money for campaigns

You're in Congress, do something. Start an impeachment. Hold Trump's funding and any other agency that's assisting I'm this debacle. But, for God's sake, do more than talk on front of a camera.

Arguably the only time politicians care about their constituents is around election time. The rest of the time is doing the bidding of their campaign donors.

It should have never made it to the Senate. Maybe the Democrats and the few Republicans who voted against can do bipartisan town halls and explain why it's so bad. If you can't do that, admit you're useless and go home. Time to put up or shut up.

Maine should have gotten rid of her long ago. Her "very concerned" rhetoric is utter BS. You're right, she almost always back Trump.

My background is 30 years EMS. Every officer I ever worked with had identification, be it name bar, patches, etc, and included municipal officers, deputies, and Highway Patrol. Once was FBI and they had windbreakers. Appreciate everything you do/did.

Not at all, apologies if you thought so. I was just answering your question. In all seriousness, it's past time for strongly worded letters. Stay safe and keep the faith.

What are the Dems supposes to do? Winning elections would be a start. While they do well at the local level they don't have a cohesive message on the national stage. They need to unify and get their best spokespeople in front of a camera and microphone and don't let up.

If they're turning on Trump, that's fine. Now they should be leading the fight to get him out of office since they helped put him there. Time to put up or shut up!

Agreed. And in the meantime grant interviews with media. Curious what discovery will show when his lawyers see the government's case.

I've got a question. What if they're not actually fighting? Could this be side show so we're not paying attention to all the crap going on? Granted, both are narcissistic, egotistical, Grade A pieces septic tank scum.

Minimum wage should be raised and then consistently raised to keep up with inflation. If corporations can give CEO bonuses and fund campaigns, they can pay employees better. Or do corporations control politicians to keep pay down?

Tell Congress to stop it? Ha, like Congress listens to their constituents. I'm more concerned about the dismantling of our government than I am about a draft dodging POS having a parade. Yet, here we are.
comment in response to

They're going to do a lot of damage because SCOTUS and Congress doesn't have the courage to stop it. You get the government you pay for. And somebody's paying.

Is it me or does this seem like a game to politicians? One party does something egregious and the other party wails at the wall while it's happening. Meanwhile the people suffer and the politicians laugh because their legislation doesn't affect them. We need to fix this broken system.

Agreed. And make people pay into SS as to their pay. The high end is currently capped at a certain amount so SS isn't paid for income over that amount.

Therein lies the problem. One side can lie through their teeth and gets very little pushback while the other side, no matter how good they do, can't seem to get traction. And the media controls elections by being, in a word, biased.

Unfortunately the rich are never held accountable in this country. The saying "no one is above the law" is a fallacy. I think the French had the right idea at the time.

It's a simple fact that he doesn't want his dumpling ass held accountable. He should have never gotten back into the White House.
