LOL I always said if I ever went to a con that has a stupid poodling ban, I'd just draw a badge depicting my OC with bald arms and legs and wave that in their stupid gatekeeping faces. >:P

I find it depressing that people try so hard to strengthen an invisible wall that only ever existed so that some could have a sense of control over others :( you see the damage in both directions as a trans person

Maculinity to me is something that isn't definitive. Men can be anything, as can women. For me, I am a man because I just am, it's not something I chose. It's just something I know myself to be. The social presentation is the choice.

Yup. Being a woman doesn't stop people from being misogynistic (and oh boy are there some misogynistic women out there)

Not everything is for the whole world! I think it's healthy to have a boundary and have stuff that's just for you

I'm referring specifically to my friends who have known I'm a man and use he/him for years, just to clarify. :') Nobody is mad at strangers using they/them hahaha

It's good when it's unknown and that has always been the case for english speakers! But if someone tells you their pronouns and you know them pretty well it's weird to not use them, is it not?
comment in response to
post
I don't mind if it's someone who doesn't know me but it keeps happening with my friends I've known for years :') I don't understand why after all this time people keep reaching for a pronoun I've never used

Apparently Alfred J. Kwak was so good it convinced Tove to allow them to adapt it after the disaster that was the 70's production! :D So we have this show to thank for the most well loved piece of Moomins media!

If you're making a study of what the computer spits out for you instead of drafting your own concepts, you've skipped a really fundemental aspect to making art. It'll be flawed in the same way tracing someone's work will be flawed, with all the errors that come with not observing things for yourself

Using different media isn't the same as having a computer doing your drafting and imagining for you.

Then why don't you just do that hahaha. Or draw your rough drafts? Your drawing and painting skills will be stronger if you draw from observation instead of getting a computer to do it for you at whatever stage of your process.
