The first time he did a scene with Elba, West kept breaking his accent between takes and he thought Elba was American bc he didn't. Elba then walks over to him and in his normal accent says something like "knock it off, mate. You're messing me up " (From the All the Pieces Matter book)

Absolutely fascinating read, thank you. Not a criticism of the article at all as I think it uses quotes appropriately and concludes the word is pretty meaningless in the context, but my rhetorical objection is that I think hallucination is too anthropomorphizing

I've felt such a fear around relapses that it would cause me to fall into all-or-nothing thinking and abandon sobriety, but it's been helpful to remember all the progress made regardless and that there's more to treasure in self growth than one number
