The rest of us are going to have to suffer higher prices and unemployment so that the richest man in the world can sell his product overseas and make more money? AND IF IT IS SUCH A GREAT PRODUCT WHY DOES IT NEED DJT TO PROMOTE IT--IT SHOULD SELL ITSELF.

But you also have to make such things as benefits not provided to lower level employees non-deductible by the corp, subject to tax to the exec and subject to penalties for both.

Not sure you can enforce that under current law but what you could do is use tax law to effect change. Not only should excessive salary paid to execs be non-deductible it should be subject to a penalty--both to corp and to exec

Would have been nice if some of them had bothered to google tariffs before they voted.

I have a proposal: Public officials who are posting from their certified accounts should not be *allowed* to delete their posts to social media. If they fuck up so badly that they're embarrassed or in trouble over a post, they should have to follow it up w/ an apology or excuse or whatever.

After her multimillion dollar deal goes through, will she have only $ or will she have stock in some company? Is there any way to start a boycott now? Maybe scare off the other investors so that the deal never goes through?

The news said 36K--and lots missed due to traffic. There is high traffic, even on the weekends, without any special events. But still, 20K in Utah is an amazing thing whereas I suppose one would expect more from LA, thus making Utah more impressive, IMHO.

Also why we need a national popular vote. Swing states shouldn't be the only states presidential candidates care about.

I didn't know they had darning kits. I started wearing two socks on one foot. One sock has a hole at the toe and the other in the heel. Now I have to find a darning kit. Darn!

And important stuff like remembering someone recommended we ingest bleach to treat Covid or Googling "tariffs" before they cast their ballots instead of after they cast it.

The problem was participation was down in down-ballot elections. It would have been nice if some had shown up in closely-determined Congressional elections.

This is in CA. Since the president is decided based upon # of electoral votes rather than thru a national referendum & that CA will go blue but their votes don't matter as much as those in other states, one can understand the apathy in presidential elections

While your at it stop buying our stuff and tell your leaders to go hard. A moron has control of a bunch of nukes. Lets not let this get violent. Econ boycotts work.
