The only comprehensive Mpls caucus coverage out there. Even better, it’s incisive!

Stealing other's work is wrong. Take down the uncredited pictures and video. I chair a nonprofit blog and we explicitly bar writers from stealing work with consequences up to permanently banning for doing do. People are putting themselves out there to do this work: don't steal.

Appreciate the Ward 6 convention coverage!

The local politics coverage we absolutely need

One fun bicycling in Minneapolis fact; during the recent stretch of warm and sunny weather, our counter on Bryant Ave recorded the highest 3+ day totals of bicyclists since the new bikeway opened, averaging exactly 999.25 riders a day past the count point for the whole twelve-day period.

Minneapolis deserves a city council that is for the People—not wealthy and corporate interests. We need your help to keep Ward 7 independent. We have set a goal of reaching 500 donations by Friday. Can you chip in to support our people-powered campaign? www.katieforcouncil.org/future

I am the only labor-endorsed candidate and I’m running for re-election to continue serving Ward 7 with strong leadership. Thanks for your support @liunamnnd.bsky.social 🙌

These are really great shots of my neighborhood! The soccer field vantage is a great view of the Downtown skyline too

Hoping service matches the Gold Line for late in the evening service which would be huge for many uses Thinking about my Empire Builder getting in and *just* missing the last green line to Mpls a couple weeks ago Glad we can hang out after 6pm coming up in June though!

This is why it's so important to vote. If the 161 in Brentwood actually vote, they have much more of an influence and can get Cashman reelected. If they don't show up, Kenwood certainly will.

I keep thinking about the pedestrians hit by that lady last week. 4 of them; and one died. And about @kylejon.es who literally had a gun pulled on him because he 311d a driver parking in a bus stop zone. Literally, crossing the street is fucking unsafe. Trying to BE safe as a pedestrian is unsafe.

I have every sympathy for small business owners surviving a 1-2 year street reconstruction or other projects. We SHOULD have supports through that time that don't make a needed project an existential crisis for a business. We need to also separate the construction impacts from the new road design

I have solved the mystery of RCV ballots for the mayoral election for anti-Frey voters. You have three rankings. Rank Fateh, Davis, and Koski in the order you want. The end.

5 additional intersection improvements happening this year with a federal safety grant at: -Grant at LaSalle and Nicollet -15th at LaSalle, Nicollet and Willow. The project page on this one is out of date. Linked a presentation from Jan. '24 instead lims.minneapolismn.gov/download/Age...

The detour for the Hiawatha LRT trail is on the project website but it seems the signage has not been done to what was planned. Encourage those with specific missing signs reach out to the project team. I noted gaps at Cedar and 6th and on Franklin www.dot.state.mn.us/metro/projec...

Contact your MN state legislators and tell them to keep funding in place for the Northern Lights Express line to Duluth, especially if they're on the House/Senate Transportation Committees www.house.mn.gov/Committees/m... www.senate.mn/committees/c...

A day later the link to the report is working. Appears someone was nudged to fix it quickly.

Both of these groups have great visibility into projects and broader city policy around active transportation. Lived experience is a big part of conversations with staff. *You* could very well be the expert in the room about an intersection or road. If you're on the fence about applying, please do!

I fell on unexpected ice while biking this winter and hurt myself modestly. A month out it's almost all back to normal and I'm ready to be biking again. Drivers doing aggressive and chaotic things is *still* way more of a concern for my safety out there riding. That's all 4 seasons not just one.

I appreciate this article because it really gets to the point: moving buses off of Nicollet Mall has very little to do with making transit better. If it did, there would be explicit plans to address transit riders' very real concerns.
