Yeah, so it was a necessary step to get to where we are now. I think the worst thing about it aren't even the ceremonies, but it's reliance in guesswork and the effects on the team's morale to have to commit to that guesswork.

I guess that depends on the person. I prefer greenfields when I write code rather than legacy. Having some generated code just means now that instead of just writing code, now I have to read, review, and then rewrite code. On top of that, I already had to write the code in English (the prompt).

I'm not sure I do, whatever I'm trying to achieve, I still have to explain it to a computer using a more ambiguous language and get a less deterministic result.
