Nah. Generative 'AI' technology depends on scraping images from real human artists without their consent. And it speaks volumes about a brand if they're not willing to pay people for labor. Just commission an artist to visualize your ideas or sketch it yourself.

I remember they updated their TOS with a silly statement to the effect of "you better not use our services for illegal things OR ELSE." ๐Ÿคฃ

This is so validating that your investigation is having impact. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

I feel like OpenAI raises the billions not because it is actually valuable but because they wanna bully little companies into deals and defend against lawsuits.

It's like the landlord adding a pitifully inadequate gym that nobody wants to use only so they can point to something to justify why the rent is higher.

I wrote one last Friday as well with more information on how Republicans are trying to get around Byrd's Rule. I felt that script was kinda long so I tried to keep it shorter today. Nothing is stopping you from calling each day so use both scripts if you want! www.mrdang.com/ted-cruz-sne...

Ya and ask your Senators to join the 4 Senators who have demanded that Meta investigate and limit 'AI' chatbots masquerading as therapists with made-up credentials. There are so few Senators who aren't fawning over 'AI' so contacting them will make a big difference. bsky.app/profile/saml...

Waymo: pshhh we don't provide data without a warrant, subpoena, or court order Also Waymo: *is repeatedly subpoenaed for surveillance footage and runs training sessions for cops teaching them all about Waymo and how to respond to incidents involving them*

Both WA Senators Murray and Cantwell are 'AI'-accelerationists. They may say they support labor, but generative 'AI' is inherently an anti-labor technology. 'AI' accelerationism transcends party. Contacting your Senators makes a difference because they are not warning people enough about 'AI'.

If anyone is struggling to get the context and contact their Senators about Ted Cruz's loophole to keep 'AI' unregulated, I wrote a quick summary and script: www.mrdang.com/ted-cruz-sne...

Lavingia is such a dumbass. He laid off most workers back at Gumroad then writes a blog post, 'GOD Mode': 'I could do it all myself. It wasn't fun, but it was possibleโ€“and it led to a much healthier businessโ€“albeit a much less healthier me.' BRO JUST HIRE PEOPLE TO DO THE WORK YOU DON'T WANNA.

To be exact, Schumer voted WITH THE REPUBLICANS on their NDAA defense spending bill which tacked on a ban against gender-affirming care for children of service members. Do NOT believe a word he says. www.nbcnews.com/politics/con...

And this is the 404 Media story I referenced where lawyers got caught citing cases made up by 'AI' a few months ago. "Lawyers Caught Citing AI-Hallucinated Cases Call It a 'Cautionary Tale'" www.404media.co/lawyers-caug...

Context: this is the NOTUS investigation that was mentioned in the video. The MAHA report cites "more than 500 studies and other sources to back up its claims. Those citations, though, are rife with errors, from broken links to misstated conclusions." www.notus.org/health-scien...
