Agreed. I loathe the idea that the primary purpose of education is job skills. What a horribly dystopian perspective.

A lack of awards/nominations is not a commentary on the quality of your work. Ever. Yeah, we can always improve. We should strive for it. It's the fun part, growth. It's the ongoing "Hey look ma, I made it!" of a creative's journey. The rest is just a bonus. Keep going, badass. </fin>

Pandora has superior discovery (IMO) and playlist sharing. It does have group sessions for listening together, but probably not quite as slick as Discord listen along. Tidal is better in some ways, but lacking specifically on your features.

It's absolutely insisting on running updates, despite the fact that it was running 2 minutes earlier. I closed it accidentally and immediately tried to reopen.

I'm honestly more worried about my DVD collection. The CDs are already backed up to flak.

Just like with any system designed for "averages" it's quite likely few of your real users experience the expected optimal flow.

The reason you might use `array.reduce(...)` to produce an array (instead of using `array.map(...))` is that `map()` will always produce the same number of records while `reduce()` can change (one might even say "reduce") the number of records.

And if you're doing a lot of complaining, maybe be specific about *why* you don't like the thing instead of focusing on making other people feel bad/stupid for liking something you don't.

Sadly, the same bros are still peddling nonsense

Yes, yes, exactly. Where do you stop with plain? No toppings? No cheese? No sauce? Nothing but crust?
