The saddest thing is that they seem to believe it’s ok for them to spout ‘hard truths’ and ‘tough lines’ to the population so long as the population aren’t free to point out how utterly stupid and twisted they all are. It won’t change until it’s literally their own families lives on the line.

Oh but he’s a genius though so it’s probably just ‘research’ for his next brilliant idea. Tesla’s flying high, SpaceX is (erm) flying sort of high, and Mars is practically ready for spades in the ground. Give him more disco biscuits I say, this is quite fun to watch.

Yes, as galling as it is to effectively lose Trent (who cost us no transfer fee) for only £8.4m, replacing him with Frimpong + retaining Bradley for another 4yrs for a net cost of circa £20m is still decent business. I’d also suggest their combined salaries are considerably less than Trent’s.

I really like Jones and get the homegrown element, but I haven’t felt like he’s anymore than a squad player and with our midfield 3 looking quite solid you feel either he or Elliott may move on for more starts. Possibly both..

I guess the only caveat to that is there’s a few fringe players who haven’t taken their chance to impress these past few games, and for them going into holiday mode isn’t really an option. Jones, Elliott, Nunez especially needed better performances I think before the summer break..
