I welcome the government's decision to restore the winter fuel payment to 7.5 million pensioners, although it shouldn't have been taken away in the first place. We must learn lessons from this fiasco and halt plans to cut disability benefits before we make another huge mistake.

After a knackering weekend, I'm back on board. Hello. 🙏💚

Labour’s 1.5m new home target is vital but we don’t need new planning laws to achieve it. Bats and newts are not the blockers - property developers are. There are 1.4m homes consented and waiting to be built in Britain right now - why? buff.ly/au9tsaY

The government’s new Planning and Infrastructure Bill could give businesses the green light to trash habitats and threaten wildlife. Say no to attacks on nature! If you agree – drop your MP a quick email via @friends_earth 👇 action.friendsoftheearth.uk/target/urge-...

We managed to get a walk today in between the showers. We saw terns and swallows flying over the water. There was even a bit of fungi. @mrmoog.bsky.social

It’s Nature or No Nature! Steve Reed, we cheered when you said: “Without nature thriving, there can be no long-term food security.” We couldn’t agree more…so with that in mind…

Ship collisions and noise are pushing whales to the brink–but there’s a simple solution. Slowing down ships could save thousands of whales and other marine life. Urge your leaders to commit to real ocean protection at the upcoming global summit! action.wemove.eu/sign/2024-6-...

🦇 A huge thank you to all our fantastic volunteers on this Volunteers' Week! Volunteers are at the very heart of bat conservation in the UK - without their dedication and support, much of our work would not be possible. Thank you all.

Millions of people are worried about paying their rent, feeding their kids or losing vital disability benefits. If the government cared about people's security, it would reverse cruel cuts, end child poverty and pursue an agenda for peace. Let's fund welfare, not warfare.

💚 I'm running to be the next leader of the Green Party because we need bold leadership. 🙌🏼 A party that can cut through to millions of people - not just to those who already agree. 🙏🏽 Thanks so much to @jeremyvine.bsky.social for having me! 👀 Find out more at backzack.com

No money for teachers, nurses or doctors, but there is money for war No money for the NHS, but there is money for war No money for the disabled or elderly, but there is money for war. We should be planning for peace, not war. www.theguardian.com/politics/liv...

Seeing and Giving are the most important words and actions in life. They are the way forward to intelligence and compassion. Nothing has changed and nothing ever will, unless we learn to see the truth about ourselves. Nobody owns this. This isn't mystic nonsense. This is real.

Good morning everyone. 🙏💚

PIP IS NOT THE ONLY DISABILITY BENEFIT AT RISK! Please don’t forget about Universal Credit (especially LCWRA), and Contribution-Based ESA. Also Carer’s Allowance, benefits cap exemptions, Council Tax reductions, Social Care, and lots more. Focusing only on PIP isn’t enough.
