dried beans are hard to find where you are? that's interesting, they're such a basic necessity for me I don't think it would occur to me they're hard to source in some places

even here, it's that kind of ingredient, can be hard to source.

I will happily trade you the guanciale I've got in my freezer for some of that fresh pasta. 🤤

One of those artists where I've listened/owned several albums in every format as the tech became available, lol.

I like vanilla socks, they're a soothing knit. lol, I was poking fun at myself for being old. my toes can be cold all day but overnight I'm at risk of spontaneous combustion.

hah! I'm working on a pair of socks right now, too. I have not focus right now, vanilla socks are all I can handle. and never worn overnight. you hit a certain age and the second you lay down you turn into a furnace. 🔥😭

I just mentioned this to my son, and his response was, "again?" so I guess it was known but buried in the flood of other scandals. sigh.

This is one of my favorite (double ) albums, has been for more years than I should admit. Bernie Taupin & Elton John were a magical combo.

IME of being a crappy terrace gardener arugula grew easily and well--and that's in pots, pretty high up, middle of Manhattan--I know that wasn't your point, but I figured I'd offer this just in case you thought arugula was finicky to grow.

Listen, when my kids were young, playing Spot the Rat was a very important part of the daily commute to school. ;) (read: distraction while waiting for the train)

Thank you! Norman is usually my go-to for new to me stitches, he gives such clear instructions, but for some reason it just wasn't clicking. This morning I found a video from Carol Feller that clarified for me. I hope, lol.

Seems worse now but yes, always. This is why we skipped the whole shebang and went to Vegas. Despite the dire warnings I was given by...everyone, never regretted it. Big weddings are cool if you're into it & have the $, but if you aren't/don't, just don't.

Congratulations! Wishing you both a beautiful lifetime of health and happiness!
