Put this in the arrogance museum. What an incredible artifact.

Sooooooo many white-hairs today *in Oakland*. Most of these people probably haven't been to downtown Oakland in years. They were like half of the march. I was shocked.

100%. The shithole where I grew up was insular, ignorant, and incredibly judgmental/gossipy. As I moved to bigger and bigger places, I learned what well-rounded people could be like.
I suspect some folks in those places actually do have an inkling of this, deep down. And it makes them angry.

Great. Good talk.

So telling someone who is asserting that maybe feeding wild animals is bad to "Ask Elon for a hit and chill the fuck out" seems shitty to me.

Those who are familiar with woodchuck wildlife rehabs, maybe. I agree with the rest.
Most people who see this video do not know that, as you assert, this animal has been rehabbed and is now being shown off the wild. To most it's a woodchuck climbing on a guy with a treat. And that's not great.

Ok, that is useful info, thank you. It is not obvious info.

Has it, obviously?
How did you gather this from the obviously not "an animal rescue or something" setting of the video?
What's so obvious?

yes i'm sure you spend much more time outside since you equate touching grass with feeding wild animals

I was just at Prescott Market and it looks like a building fire. Smoke is super nasty.

Good to know, since I have so much faith in the wisdom of a big chunk of people right now.

I've got the license number saved in my phone in case I ever come across him. Would love to say hi. :)

Oh RAM is easily the winner for me. I actually kinda hated it the first time I heard it but grew to deeply love it. Masterpiece.

Stadium Arcadium could have been if they'd trimmed it to a single album. The quality varies wildly.

This is not a sustainable business model for most media orgs, especially big ones that do major investigations and features. The Guardian is the only one that comes to mind, and they are supplemented by their print weekly -- which people pay for. Journalism is a product and products aren't free.

Fair. It just eliminates the benefits of hiring remote.
