That's me having to block and mute the name of the disability officer at Wrexham across all platforms. There's nothing like a PR push to promote the person who left you absolutely traumatised with their access failures, but is protected in their role by the media attention they've been given.

Not that I’m pointing the finger or anything, but this voting intention from YouGov: Among People with Jobs: LAB: 27% RFM: 24% LDM: 16% CON: 15% GRN: 12% Among the Retired: RFM: 36% CON: 28% LDM: 14% LAB: 13% GRN: 4%

Who would win? The United States or a parcel full of contraceptives? We can actually answer this question because it was tested in court in 1936. This is the story of United States v. One Package Of Japanese Pessaries...

Has anyone made a list of Welsh MP's who have signed the reasoned amendment against the welfare bill? I know Plaid Cymru has, wondering about Welsh Labour. #TakingThePIP

Making space for the sewing machine today and dealing with the ADHD pile of WIPs and almost finished handspun yarn (needs soaking or steam setting) that kept growing. They still aren't finished, but at least they're in a box until they are. Exhausted but some semblance of order has been restored.

Keir Starmer’s disability cuts will have a “devastating” impact on women’s health and dignity and could breach equality law, the government has been warned www.theguardian.com/world/2025/j...

Trying to join the wst AGM digitally has not been fun. I hate teams and have been in an endless verification loop. I still don't even know what the WST *does* now that R&R own the club so I wanted to attend this but it's not happening.

Posts for this company keep showing up on Facebook and I'm absolutely okay with my feed being full of amazing disabled dancers. They have a show in Bangor soon, hopefully they'll come to Wrexham as well. humansmove.space/en_gb/

Managed to make it back to sewing class today and made the first pocket on our sewing storage bag. 🙂 Glad to have the class, it's helping me learn all the gotchas that happen with loading bobbins and such. Crossed paths with another Wrexham fan (or player? They had sunglasses on 🤣) heading home. 🙂

So Im actually developing relocation assistance packages for people from the USA who’d like to move to Peru Not kidding

Was finally cool enough to open the door/windows, and of course someone starts smoking or burning something. Thank goodness for rescue inhalers.

Edith Edmunds, who is 99 years old, the art of quilt making is inextricably linked to the Black struggle for freedom. That's why she plans to be sewing Thursday on Juneteenth.

Many of us were disappointed that Vicky Foxcroft wasn't given a disability related cabinet position after her great performance in the role as opposition. Very glad to see her take a principled stand on the absurdly cruel benefit reform bill, we need more MP's to do the same! #TakingThePIP

Labour is clearly desperate to be a single term Govt. Ministers are secretly considering means-testing PIP, DWP admits, despite pledge in green paper www.disabilitynewsservice.com/ministers-ar... via @johnpring.bsky.social

This heat is making everything hurt so much more. Glad it's not a common occurrence, but ouch.

The disability benefits cuts introduced by the government today are not positive reforms to welfare, but a dangerous step backwards. Hundreds of thousands will be plunged into poverty. There is no financial case, nor moral case for these cuts. The government must drop this Bill.
