My fun coordinate system tidbit: The BUILD engine is *Z-down*. Moving upwards decreases the Z position. It is truly cursed

Changing which word of this post that you put in "quotes" never stops it making sense

I don't tip, because I hate tipping culture, and I would rather pay higher prices for everyone involved in the transaction to be paid better, without that being made to be my individual responsibility But that is just one reason I don't use food apps

Couldn't believe this showed up in the UT episode of Secret Level

Yeah idk, if Nothing Matters, No Matter What Happens then not sure why you chose to say anything in the first place!

I don't think buying HP products means you support her views... But SHE does, and that makes all the difference

While I generally agree that boycotts in the current era are pointless (insofar as producing results), the gambit is slightly different with Rowling, because unlike most, she very explicitly believes her continued financial success is direct evidence her opinions are popular and correct

Actually, yeah I am pretty sure he did, him selling the rights to his voice to Disney for 1 morbillion dollars so HC could "perform" as Vader was a big deal when the Obi-Wan show came out. He absolutely knew he was selling his voice to be used by AI for w/e Disney decided, and was paid accordingly

I got a Hot Ones box set as a bday gift (and we all did the challenge, it was a great time) and you're 100% right, Da Bomb sucks on every possible level. It only exists to be hot, and the only interesting part was the 0-to-100-ness of it like turning on a switch. Never opened the bottle since

The American Dream isn't to solve any of the problems in the country - It's to have enough money that those problems simply don't affect you anymore

Then it released to massive acclaim and became "The Baby Yoda Show". Suddenly every exec wanted their hand in it, and it became what it became. Similar things could be said for how Andor was seen (by fans and Disney), and I'm stunned the same thing didn't happen to S2, and so glad there won't be S3

Season 1 of Mando was only able to get away with this because, before its release, I don't think Disney really believed in it. It was a Fett movie that was "downgraded" to a TV show, then further downgraded to being an entirely new character. Favreau and Filoni were given wide creative latitude.

$70 for an RPG back in the 90s was a good deal! Phantasy Star IV's MRSP was $89.99

I stepped away from my computer for a moment. When I returned, it was building something. I did not ask it to do this. We are not ready for what's coming

If they had leaned into the uncanny with Clu, make it an intentional choice as a result of him getting digitally corrupted, and left out the 1 or 2 shots of real-world Flynn that linger just a bit too long, I don't think anyone would have made the same complaints

I can't imagine what it must be like having everyone you meet not interact with you and who you are or what you are saying, but interact with version of you as curated by that person's Algorithm and treat you as though you are the sum of your least flattering sound bites
