So sorry. ❤️

Do you know if you are going to have to relocate? Reach out when you know what you need. Even if people can only give a little bit each, it will all add up.

Amazing! 👏👏👏

Well, the gender gods have spoken. Mikaela gets to spend her summer soaking up the sun while the rest of us continue to drag ourselves to work. Enjoy every minute of it!

Heels, ugh. I leave those for the drag queens. They are a ploy of the patriarchy to slow us down on our climb up the corporate ladder.

Brilliant! Did you plan it this way, or did you just get lucky to have your turn come up at the beginning of summer?

Crazy Californians, wanting to know if it's a real cop beating the shit out of them and trampling on their constitutional rights.

It's the 6 year old next door who has gotten at them the last few years. If we spot her, we give her a bowl so she can take some home.😊

That is a risk I didn't think about. I'll know better next time.

Slowly but surely.

It's a 2012. Still runs great. Needed lots of body work though. I regret not keeping up with the annual undercoating. If I'd done that I could probably get another 10 years out of her.

Nope! We just got her fixed up so she'll pass another MVI. If she can get me through another 4 years, Grampy will retire, and we can probably go down to one car.

He still doesn't have much range of motion in his right arm, but it's slowly improving. The worst is when he forgets, and he tries to reach for something, and his shoulder comes to a sudden stop mid-reach.

I just don't see the allure, and anytime I see one in the wild, I wonder who is this person who thought that was a good use of $100k+?

Very best of luck on the first day of the rest of your life.

I remember the day the bus driver said, "Hold you cigarettes below the windows. My inspector is behind us." As if the bus wasn't one giant cloud of nicotine smoke.

My middle child was paid to play video games for a couple of years. He did QA for EA sports. Turns out it's not as much fun when you have to play the same segment of the same game over and over again.

Sorry to hear this. I hope you both recover quickly.

Staying in bed is so much safer than getting up.

Yup. We could probably get close to 5X what we paid. But it's the people that bought in the last 5 years that could get double that shock me.

Is that a pet rat I see on the shoulder of a cat tourist?

Ours was meant to be a starter home. We were going to stay 5 years, build up some equity, and buy in a good neighborhood. We're still here 32 years later and love our neighborhood. We pinched every penny to buy it. I still see young people buying houses. I have no idea how they are doing it.

They've added woke to the lexicon because compassionate and caring just didn't have any sting to it.

Even before musk had his bromance, when you could drive a Tesla and without shame, those were ugly.

Oh no. You might as well take tomorrow too. I hope you feel better soon.

I hope you had a restful day. You need to take care of yourself to perform your best when you do go to work.

Last month, a neighbor listed their semi for 430k. It sold for 477k in a week. We do not live in an upscale neighborhood, nor on the peninsula. I can't see a future where my kids will own homes.

It's meant to belittle the person who disagrees with them. It suggests that it is so obvious it shouldn't even have to be explained, and if you can't see that, you're not so bright.

Hopefully, they'll have a steady supply coming in over the next few weeks.
