Yeah, considering we don’t get new stuff at our locals any more, it’s almost going to be like the set doesn’t exist for ne

I think partly it comes down to wanting to believe it is, sometimes the juice isn’t worth the squeeze, hard pill to swallow

I’m not sure which is the strongest, but whoever chooses reach, now that’s a decklist I’d like to see.

It’s a horrible broken system that preys on fomo no doubt. It’s not an exploit though, just a way to get ahead by getting there even 60 seconds before the product launches for sale. For better or worse it’s by design.

I did get lucky enough to get mine, but the entire waiting time I was filled with anxiety. I think the compromise between fomo and disappointment is a 24 hour window print to demand.

Whereas for the marvel drop for example, there was an exploit to skip the queue entirely by clicking a link to the checkout page, that’s been fixed.

It’s not the same thing FYI, what happens is an hour before it drops you can sit in a waiting room, it then adds anyone in said waiting room to the queue, since you showed up on time it puts you randomly in front of anyone who gets there on the dot of launch.

Perhaps a dumb question, but when would be the right time to try picking up a sephiroth, should I wait until release? Want one in the fancy artwork and no one around me has any final fantasy stuff

My thoughts exactly, I’m thinking the silent samurai trope would work best for him. Worst case he can just have a party that do the talking. It’s definitely a project that could be memorable for all the wrong reasons :p

In truth i don’t think it can ever please everyone, Zelda is too large a series with so many different stories, as well as the fact it’s got at most 2 hours to tell such a story. Whatever they decide I think it’s important to pick one direction and not to try blending them all together.

A recent hobby I’ve ended up in is Skyrim mod making, and it hit me yesterday what I’ve accidentally done is make trail and error tech support my hobby… it’s a nightmare, the ease in which things break makes me question everything

I don’t play much anymore let alone ever competitively, but even I can tell just off of using current card text this is going to back fire hard. Those beloved formats are that way due to funny interactions most of the time, welp.

My locals couldn’t get any unfortunately, and I’ve decided to just wait until prices come down before ordering any sealed products, patience is going to have to be my weapon this time.

It’s funny how two of my favourite series are elder scrolls and dragon age (well, before inquisition which I’ve yet to beat) and yet it’s the other two big rpgs from those studios that are getting series, maybe fantasy is just harder to do,

I hear because of how difficult the ps3 would be to port it’s actually easier to port the 360 version. I’m guessing that has something to do with it.

At least one person appreciated a Skyrim mod i made a couple months ago, might sound insignificant, but I was happy to just see a single person appreciate something I’d done.

You sort of give off doctor vibes, it’s mischief personified. Great episode and work on the set by the way, hats off to you and the team for making such a faithful cool looking set :)

Doesn’t help that they decided to AI him into that Star Wars series a few years back, i wouldn’t be surprised to learn that soured him some.

The tcg player in me reads this and thinks of all the silly shenanigans that could qualify, the writer in me thinks about the query letters I’ve sent off, and the little faith I have in my cover letters 😂

Natural conclusion of capitalism, remove all competition. It’s why only seeking profit is so short sighted, growth and competitors leads to innovation.

I think part of the reason is because this is half a season in a lot of ways, the story barely gets going and it’s hard to invest into it knowing you’ll only end up waiting for season 3 to rewatch it anyway.
I think announcing that early on might have backfired.

I can barely play for 3 hours a day mental stamina wise, let alone a single game, this sounds like hell

@markhamillofficial.bsky.social this scene still remains one of the most visually striking of any movie I’ve seen, especially with that track in the background. 48 years is staggering.

That’s very Sith of you :😂 I see no reason to fight, we can all have our favourites, and this one will always hold the legacy of which without it we would have none.

With regards to humour, thats a case of having to bring what you want to the table, like you can’t blame bluesky for a lack of humour 😂

I deleted my account last year and the amount of times I’ve been disappointed to learn everyone else moved back is more than 6, bluesky is just twitter before corruption, come on in the waters fine! No sharks, promise.

I’m of the opinion they should try making this Batman have a larger role in the series, maybe take up the mantle. Would be a really fun game and could be very lovely art wise.

There’s a really old yugioh card that reverses - effects to plus and the other way around, if they ever print something like that in magic…

Yeah, main thing is if we get to a point where they want to move people from switch architecture to something else down the road/make a new online system for stuff, there’s a difference between downloading old purchases and allowing you to pay for a old service

Hmm, but don’t they require a sub to maintain playing them? If so, when the servers go I’d expect them to as well

I’m just waiting for the day they inevitably go away when servers shut down, wish we could just buy them
