Games use to make time fly for me where I’d be playing and look down and see it’s been a few hours That’s now been replaced with video editing. I told myself I was going to get on and edit for 20 mins. It’s been an hour and I didn’t even notice 😅

What is common knowledge in your field, but shocks outsiders? It's amazing how many electrical/electronic/electromechanical things can be fixed by taking them apart, cleaning them, and putting them back together again.

What is common knowledge in your field, but shocks outsiders? Turning it off and on again. The amount of stories that everyone in IT has, is about 95% of this fixing the issue. The other 4% is it not being plugged in and the 1% is everything else

There is always something I find funny about my streams (well, many things do) I have a great mic, a great audio device it plugs into, but I let it peak on OBS because sometimes it creates the perfect cut offs or it being scratchy makes it better

I love it (not sarcastic this time) when I make something new for my stream and when applied with other stuff, it creates something even better! I’ve added my old webcam to my stream and making new channel redeems people can do with it and two of the redeems make it a trippy mess and I love it

Something I’ve come around to with AI is that it does have its uses, GenAI isn’t one, but that the whole water point is pretty minor. Before AI became big, everyone’s been using water for other stuff like below and big tech companies with their data halls. Look at almond farms

Wondering how I did it? I boiled water and added two tablespoons of vinegar, baking soda, and lemon juice. I soaked it for 20 minutes, and after that, it looked the same, so I bought a brand new one.
