I love Leon. Their a total prophet of salvation 😉
FUD, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of FUD in the morning!

Has a national military force ever allowed themselves to be so debased and humiliated so quickly?

I was at the MN Capitol protest today (although I’m just visiting the state). Absolutely heartbreaking and inspiring.

Minnetonka - hard to see but the crowd lined all for corners and ran furthest down 101 north.

I don't normally give attention to the counter-protesters, but I thought I would share this amusing video.
At least, I hope it's amusing. Perhaps it just shows that I suck at making videos.
Get out to the #TeslaTakedown and/or #NoKings next week!

Is $250,000,000/year a lot? Doesn't seem so bad.

Q1/2025 in the US... Tesler down 9%, not Tesler up 34%. Numbers from Cox automotive. Musk gets away with the lies because the interviewer seldom has the level of detail needed to refute them. The rare instance when they do, Musk just denies the data.

They could sell more cars by boosting incentives and price cuts. It's interesting to watch how they're managing the collapse of the brand. They seem to be accepting a level of shrinking deliveries without too much damage to margins.

If you've not read it, highly recommend 'Fondly Fahrenheit" by Alfred Bester. Story is about a humanoid robot that goes on murderous rampages whenever the temperature gets too high.

Most serious sci-fi has only bad things to say about humanoid robots. Certainly see Dune story line.

Musk is supposed to be a fan of Asimov robot and foundation stories. Eventually humanity rejected all humanoid robots and moved into the galaxy without them.

100% chance CT is cancelled by end of 2026. 50% chance by the end of 2025. 25% chance by the end of Q2.

Isn't Bezos trying to start his own satellite Internet service? If a snake and a scorpion start fighting do I have to pick a side?

Henry Ford tried this with Fordlândia. Not a screaming sucess. Highly recommend the Greg Grandin book.

Fantastic work. We need a Norway #Teslatakedown branch. Seems they're the only positive story right now.

It could drive itself into a pond drowning the driver. Angela Chao would have an opinion if she was still alive.

Tesler is experiencing declining sales in an expanding market. That's what makes their numbers so pathetic. Q1 2025 in the US, GM sold 31,887 electric cars. That's a 94% increase over Q1 2024. Normally, the market would reward growth like that. GM trades at 1/20 the P/E as Tesler.

Tesler has been losing market share in the US for years. Expect that trend to continue.

Great article. Thanks for posting. Spent a few days in Lawton and Fort Sill. Towns like these were already on the edge. The next few months will push many over the brink.
