In terms of quality, IMHO, I think it’s a step above the Intertoto Cup which is akin to the Conference Cup. Given the wealth of Spurs and Man United though and the advantage they have over all other entrants, I don’t buy though that it is some brilliant achievement for either of them to win it.

Not sure you can compare it to the old UEFA or Cup Winners Cup in terms of quality of teams (remember the Man United v Barcelona final). It’s more than the Intertoto Cup, but not much.

I suspect we will all be long dead before the British Establishment accepts publicly that actively pushing Brexit was one part of Putin's strategy to destablise the west. If you value this country - then this should seriously concern you... whatever side of that decade old fight you were on

The noise doesn’t travel. Where I am in the East Stand it is pretty loud but I can barely hear anything from the Gallowgate and the only part of the Leazes I hear singing is the corner with the East Stand. Maybe it’s the concrete.

He could make the odd run. A few times he has had the opportunity to get across the defender at the front post but had not done so. Would have taken a point at the start and would definitely do so now.

Who manages you and how the money is spent is the most important- look at Spurs/Man United .No chance Howe would sanction Joelinton going. He’s pretty unique.
