This right here. There seem to be folks that vote conservative dogmatically wo any belief in the values.
Sometimes I think it's framing too.
I tell ppl I'm a progressive; meaning that I think gov't should make our lives easier & more equitable. And that I'm happy to pay more taxes for that.

My Grandpa was a grain buyer in Sask from the 1950s to the 1980s. My uncle has a full set of rye whiskey bottles that are ceramic grain elevators that were given to him for years of service or some such.
My dad has a couple bottles from a different 'award'. I bet I could rig up a lil patio light.

Do you all have the author/title for the books/pieces these excerpts are from?

I feel this on my soul. The city is sensory overload for me now. I'm sure I could adjust if I had to live in one again but I definitely prefer not to.
Feeling like one of the only human beings with empathy and curiosity is exhausting though. So, maybe horns and traffic would be worth it?

It seems like lots of "preachers" can't tell the difference between politics and religion. To be fair, if you watch what's going on in the US it can be hard to tell, but things are a lot less confused here.
David Parker wants us to be like the US. Don't let him get away with it.

The timing of this ๐ Deeply disappointed in Carney - standing with ๐ฎ๐ฑ currently does not help Jewish people. I hope Carney follows this with a press conference advising we are sanctioning ๐ฎ๐ฑ and sending aid to ๐ต๐ธ.

This is worse than babies born addicted. These mothers easily could have avoided this. The standard prenatal care has you tested for antibodies for this exact reason.
I do realize that not everyone does have reasonable access to this standard of care tho.

Right? Removing the early trauma, or trying to at least reduce and mitigate it, would change our society in so many ways it's hard to imagine what it might be like.

For any of your followers from the UK, France or Canada, those 3 countries had issued a statement saying further actions would be taken if the Israeli govt continued to deny access to aid.
Quote that May 19th statement when you contact your MPs/representatives

We could at least have reasonable health care premiums be auto deducted like CPP and EI, like most other provinces. I'm for a PST of sorts too though.

Agreed. Itโs also an indictment of conservative Alberta governments who have been in power for all but 4 years over the last 50+ years. Sheโs making the argument against her own political ideology.

Her base will lap it up bc she's made the lowest earners & under educated folks' lives worse since getting elected. Those ppl know their lives are worse & she's deflecting, hard! Her base are the 1s suffering.

Thank you!
My sleep is easily disrupted, so I hesitate to take anything other than melatonin. My psychiatrist told me he'd prefer I take as much of that as needed vs prescribing sleep aids. I haven't need melatonin for a few weeks.
Thx for your comment bc now I'm going to go take some. ๐ค๐ป๐ด

We have approx 5 million ppl. 10% of folks attend religious services weekly, according to David Parker's 'bro university' stats analysis. There are lots of demographics that make up more than 10%. Imagine if they organized!?

Yeah. How many are United Church members, Lutheran, or Catholic? What about Quaker? Christian doesn't mean evangelical ya Dingus (David Parker not you all).

Whether it's liquor, BBQ sauce, car products, pens, or pencils everyone I know is buying Canadian as much as possible. There are times it isn't & then I choose European or Asian made/owned. If that still isn't possible & it isn't an item we can do without, then & only then is US made an option.
