@durbin.senate.gov I am ashamed to say I voted for you when I was an IL resident. You are giving up the D’s only leverage and for what? Take a principled stand! @schumer.senate.gov I worked for a partner who would assess the contributions of people and when appropriate e.g. when there was no contribution of value would ask “why are you here?” So in that spirit, I ask, “why are you here?” To hold power you’re afraid to wield? To capitulate when it’s hard?
