The cakes were a vegan raspberry and pistachio, and courgette and lime which I was sceptical about but, it was the better tasting of the two.

Mickey Callisto, had a strong stage presence. It was Stereopiums first gig, they created an ethereal sound. Highlight for me was seeing half of Rachel Stamp.

Inside is a framed newspaper clipping. Formerly Mother Mac pub conceals a haunting legacy. 49 years ago there was a tragic event infamously called Mother Macs Massacre. The landlord murdered his family and cleaner and then set the pub on fire, killing himself in the blaze.

Sculptures of prehistoric sea creature were suspended from the ceiling but due to the strategically placed mirrors there was an infinity mirror effect. It gave the illusion that the sea was filled with plenty of these creatures. A fab effectđź‘Ź.

Yes in a time when people would not have really known what a lion looked like. She was a prolific, well respected female painter, when female painters were not norm. I learnt she did over 200O paintings. And there was a Rosa doll, a bit like Barbie of the day that kids played with.
