Fishing with John is one of my favorite TV shows. Particularly the episode where he goes ice fishing with Willem Dafoe.

That's fair! You're more regimented than I. Good luck!

ffmpeg... is there anything it can't do? I'm pretty sure it can even output a video as pure love and joy.

I'm wanting to make a similar audio player as the BBC Sounds Effects Archive, so I'm taking the whole episode and sampling every 8s. I then averaging out the value and then using that to drive the height of the rects.

Working on a Cloudflare Workflow that archives my radio show. In particular the part that takes the audio and generates a waveform svg and tosses it in muh bucket

Unless it's an overwhelming amount, I'd probably continue to take a quick look and see if they seem like a good person — then let that guide my decision.

My window feeder is up there for best purchase, maybe next to the light refractors. My house is full of birds and rainbows, it's great!

I agree, get something into the clients hands as early as possible. I've heard people at Metalab use the term "ridiculously early hypothesis", where they try to express what's in their heads after the first gathering of info with what's in the head(s) of the client.
