He’s absolutely the wrong player for Newcastle but I really enjoy watching Zirkzee. Very tidy on the ball but just runs like me. Hojlund is one I’d look at if he was being moved on for cheap though. All the right attributes for a Howe masterclass.

Might be controversial but I don’t think drawing at West Ham is hideous. The main thing for me is not to lose, both for confidence and to at least stop from those around us pulling away. Good lord would I love a clean sheet, though. #NUFC

Though staleness, lack of competition, etc… is fairly being mentioned, I think there’s been a trend throughout the season with 1st / 2nd half disparity. I can’t help but feel the James Bunce factor comes into it.

Osula is raw but I hope that’s not completely ironed out of his game. A bit more work on positioning and making space for his shots and he could be some player. Newcastle are the kind of team that needs a firework on the bench and Osula looks like pure chaos-ball. Some really neat touches tonight.

What a professional performance. Stunning. The away leg saw Arsenal huff and puff but couldn't blow the house in. The home leg, Arsenal barely huffed. I loved it. Legitimate frustration at recent home games not having the same standards but who gives a shit, we're going to Wembuhley. #NUFC

What a difference a month makes. Oddly, I still kind of feel like this would’ve made this evening simpler. I know you can’t be mad at a 2-0 lead but being in a position of strength is not something the #NUFC fanbase has a great recent history of. Praying for an early goal to really settle the nerves

Yep, £20m does it. Business logic trumps all in a PSR world. If we get top 5 without bringing anyone in, this is a masterstroke. It’s a big if, though. Currently pleased we’re not doing a Villa and scattergunning expensive loans but give it a few weeks and I may be jealous of the ambition.

It’s true. Our boy is gone. Genuinely great memories of Miggy and he has his place in the history of this team. If we don’t sign a replacement in January, I’m expecting a bumper Summer. Especially if we get top 5. Could be an all-timer.
