In fear of rambling too much, I’ll just finish with this. I was there for Billy, I was there for Babs, I’ll be there for whoever is next. They built a community and that doesn’t stop. Not many people get to say they’ve genuinely impacted lives, especially while having the plops so often.

Watching the team on CBBC with my son was a wild experience though. To see the development, the growth, the joy. It’s nuts. I’m so chuffed that despite the news, they’ve been able to enjoy such moments.

As with so many things though, time became a factor and I couldn’t watch or follow along as much as I’d have liked. Through work, a relationship, raising a child (another on the way), chances to get involved were scarce. I lurked, I subbed, I still laughed at painting, quizzes and horses.

Despite this, my partner didn’t love how grown up I was watching Peter play Star Wars: The Phantom Menace while we were laying on the beach in Skiathos

TripleJump followed and was a wonderful watch from the word go. We watched the launch livestream as a group, watched Worst Games at the end of gaming sessions on the weekends and enjoyed the channel growing up as we did in life.

I was in a particularly bad state in 2018 and Vidiots was genuine relief. When it hit its psychotic peak, it was pure unfiltered madness and I appreciated every second. I contributed to Post Some Tat, had a Tell Your Friends intro and a game I sent made WGE (albeit on TripleJump!)

Vidiots followed and hit another level. We still quote Vidiots to this day. I remember listening to the first Podiots in a cable car in the alps and stifling laughter at the mention of Bobby Babalooney in front of a baffled French family.

I came across Worst Games all those years ago and it all clicked. There’s a sense of humour that I think so many people are sure is unique to their friendship group but suddenly you see people making those same jokes and dicking around in that exact way. It’s comforting.

Devastating. Hope you're all doing okay and best of luck with whatever you all decide to do next.

The hot new 'listen-along' feature got me so excited. Such a shame that Rat Trap made me feel sad and stressed.

The epidemic of “You were a (insert position), you know what it’s like” used by a pundit to another pundit to usually criticise a mistake. Sometimes this feels more like a get out clause for not actually providing decent analysis and is more of an opportunity to make Roy Keane say he liked tackling.

Gamecube and OG Xbox! Wonderful stuff.

Iconic. Up there with the probably problematic Lamb Curry song. An all-timer. youtu.be/Mm9rlzhqHGU?...

Botman and Isak being fit for the final could be so significant. Sounds obvious but looking at tonight it jumps out at you.

I will add, I don’t know if it’s a good thing or a bad thing. All I know is that it’ll be an easier thing to do with Sven back #NUFC

The first half intensity, often blowing teams away, seems to allow us some breathing room to not have to go wild chasing games for too long. United, Arsenal (LC), Liverpool, plenty of games we have been so impressive early on but had so much more to deal with late on.

Yep I’d agree with that. Especially for this season and the lack of depth off the right.

Newcastle or Arsenal?

Well done mate. Great effort 👍🏼

Yep, unless BDB’s form falls off a cliff I can see Sven’s reintroduction taking all the time it needs. All for it tbh!

You’re getting probably a more rounded player but maybe not as spontaneous or exciting as the first time around. Really hope he flourishes again!
