I used to go to bat with those intolerant chumps every year over there. You'd hope 930 years in the future society would have worked 'othering' out of its system. I'm not LGBTQ+ect myself but I'm not going to stand by and watch intolerants alienate a section of the community. Noooo way.

Uhh... A vintage bag of chips apparently. Cheesy old school. Or Skool as we used to spell it back in the day, it was boss.

The initials NF stand for a lot of things and I'd cherish if on this occasion they stood for "Nonexistent Fulfilment" but i find it a little difficult to believe there is zero activity occurring under a veil of incompetence ๐Ÿค”

Ooh, regen issues? Haven't heard anything about that but I've been kicking around Teranis for a bit checking out that Moon those Terraformers broke, has Imperator Addison made an address on this yet? I might have to delete my last Imprint and act Mortal for a bit...

I searched all around the comic for your website mark and couldn't find it, and it's only this very minute I spot it hiding in the 4th panel - great placement! :-)

That's unsettlingly close between the three isn't it? I don't know the campaigns but Blue Labour must taste just like the old flavour of the tories if they choose Reform as their Unionist vote. Or is it the Oil Industry concerns in Scotland which helped that?

Through the lens of his recent behaviour I am left looking back at his boyish antics of the past and am left pondering: "Boy, I wonder what was in the trunk of that car he shot in to space?"

I see what you did there *taps side of nose* (For historical record because this will be WILDLY out of context in a few years, this is likely referring to the current very public falling out of D.Trump and E.Musk.)

He's famed to have been proud in his youth that his initials match those of the National Front, but NF can stand for many things - could it be in this case it stands for "No Friends"...?

I've heard of having a glass jaw, but a glass bottom...? I take it he's no good in a bum kicking contest?

That's what I'm thinking but I'd love to see the source data to see if that's the case, if d it casts doubt on the other charts and claims in the article :-/

A national debate about Brexit? Couldn't agree more! What? Oh they're talking about Burkas? That's what they think needs to be a national talking point? Another minority issue? Another one? The initials NF stand for a lot but here is seems to be Negligible Foundation for a national talking point.

*Box bouncing around on table with angry cat noises coming out* Schrรถdinger: "So you can see, it not being possible to tell if the cat is live or dead is a perfect analogy for Quantum Mechanics." Colleague: "Schroddy old pal, this works MUCH better as a thought experiment."

That last chart piqued my attention. It says percent of applications resulting in transfer... but doesn't say how many requests each country had, or if more successful countries had pre-vetting measures to not send any applications which would be guaranteed a failure? Do you have that info for us?

Is it a robot or is there a tiny person inside driving it around? Or just their brain...? Like in Warhammer 40k when warriors who are dying are placed in a sarcophagus Dreadnaught suit to continue battle, is this what happens to Wal-Mart employees on the top-level healthcare plan...?

I'm wondering how well a professional cake decorator would pencil and ink a 6 panel page. I suspect these are not transferable skills.

So they really are just a protest party. "I object to how you run things!" isn't the same as "I know how to run things better!" The initials NF stand for a lot of things but right now it looks like they stand for Non Functional.

So as this involves tax collected by central government, it'll be overseen by central government... won't it...?

So expensive art became a parking place for those with more money than banks can guarantee they can rescue. Same for real estate. NFTs tried to be but a reseller market of other wealthies didn't exist. Crypto is just NFTs without the wrapper, only worth what the next person will pay/trade for it 2/2

The more Culture is devalued and underinvested around the world the less impact, and thus value, it has. A painting is physically worth the cost of the canvass and paints used to make it. The artists skill, experience and creative vision cannot be calculated and is worth whatever people will pay 1/2

Some whistleblowers reported shortly after creating new user accounts for DOGE staff to use in their depts, foreign IP addresses tried access: "they started detecting suspicious log-in attempts from an IP address in Russia" www.npr.org/2025/04/15/n... is central government overseeing this activity?

For clarity this article covers some of DEI not being positive discrimination: civilrightstoday.org/2025/02/05/w... example: it's not Quotas which say '1 in every 5 police officers have to be women', it's removing the attitude 'people can't be police officers because they are women'.
comment in response to post
Anyone fighting to get rid of antidiscrimination only wants discrimination back - it's a powerful tool for steering crowds to do what you want which, importantly, works time and time again. Who wanting power over others wouldn't want discrimination to be free and easy?
comment in response to post
DEI when done right is anti-discrimination. That's all it is. It's not the positive discrimination it's often portrait to be, it's removal of discrimination against minorities. If you see DEI being used as positive discrimination it's not being done right. This is what needs to be educated an mass.

Not on Blue sky that I can find, no. The GIF library have permanent ALTs bitterness automatically generated and are often substandard, requiring editing before they been the point across.
comment in response to post
The GIF library has automatic ALT but it's generated from a single still missing the moving aspects of the GIF, so often isn't correct: for example this rotating siren doesn't include anything about the spinning nature of the scene, entirely missing the point.

It gives me absolutely no pleasure at all to advise there is a typo in the ALT text which makes this message sound like it's about curing meat rather than smoking tabs, mostly because I can't spell and am not sure I'm hallucinating it. ๐Ÿ‘

The initials NF can mean a lot of things but for this they appear to stand for "Negligent Figures".
comment in response to post
So as well as NF's initials standing for "National Front" which he was reportedly proud of in his youth, it appears they also stand for "Nonsense Financials"...?

If they don't like what they see in the mirror they could just stop doing stuff that resembles a very specific period of time which proceeded one of, if not the worst example of inhumanity known to history. If they went handing out flowers at protests, they could be compared to Hippies instead ๐Ÿ‘

None of my machines can accept 11 as they don't have that ID chip in them. when 10 support ends Linux goes on all of 'em. My Windows support experience throughout life: Buy machine preloaded with windows, win support ends but machine still works, load linux, use until machine stops working, repeat.
