Oh they were busy voting for the crypto bill.

Complete disregard for base voters is so for real and it took me six decades to see it, believe it, and feel it deep in my bones. They. Do. Not. Care.

What did you do to slow down the vote on the amendment yesterday?

You voted for this.

The kind where US Senators keep moving forward with regular business on bills their constituents don’t want rather than cease activity to address it?

All due respect, did you shoot this video right after you voted on the crypto bill amendment? That vote was more critical than stopping all business to stand firmly against an elected official being forced to the ground and handcuffed for exercising free speech? Please explain.

Governors can address their own police forces, remind troops to refuse illegal orders, give state workers time off, declare days / hours of reflection for protest etc etc. For all the faults of federalism, it is actually a by design bulwark here.

There were a bunch of reasons this was on my mind… Matt Wolf’s incredible Pee-wee doc, the repulsive effort to take Harvey Milk’s name off that ship, the struggles at libraries. It’s just a huge & stupid loss, part of the larger effort to erase all gay, female, black & immigrant heroes & stories

Is it third or fourth wave feminism to assign girl / women-centered metaphors to bad behavior of grown white men? Just curious.

I’ll forgive it but we need to continue to stand against using girls as the punching bag when describing white male behavior.

Same. “High agency males” is a great phrase.

The Dem version of Sinclair. I can’t believe they keep getting worse. So depressing.

He’s also calling the travel bans a distraction. It’s as if these guys can’t possibly trouble themselves to deal with 2-3 things at once.
