Obnoxious millennial Houstonian. Be prepared to hear me talk podcasts, sports, politics, WoW (Unami-Frostwolf), and FFXIV (Petra Sagolaris-Jenova). A lot. 🏳️⚧️

Bro, you gotta stop posting extremely partisan tabloids as sources.

I can't imagine that makes anything better for California if we're not fixing the problems in the country that'd be to the immediate northeast of it.

We bury inconvenient ledes in corporate America.

What you're referring to is a detour in this conversation and is irrelevant to the topic at hand, which is that what happened was wrong regardless of how your grandma would see it. It's arguably worse given that it's the press being attacked.

My man, it's an abuse of power by an unchecked police force. I don't care if he's shooting at a 6'7" man built like a brick shithouse sitting safely inside their satellite truck. It's the same level of wrong.

I don't know that that makes it any better for him. He shouldn't be shooting at either of them.

The same is true of the low level customer of an AI tool from one of these corporations. Say, a video game developer who wants to cheese the cost of voice acting talent by just using AI to effectively skip steps. They're not in any way shouldering the immense cost you're bringing up.
comment in response to

This is an extremely disingenuous argument. The large cost of AI is in the cost of energy for the corporations hosting the equipment handling the AI processes. It's not at all a large cost for the end user who uses it to write their essays or or fake their art or copy a president's voice for a meme.

...and I'm trying to understand why YOU think this makes them better right now and how.

Steve Kerr was being openly courted by the Knicks at the time, though. He was technically on the market. Golden State knew they could probably get him.
I know I'm not talking to the front office, but I AM talking to someone who has strong opinions on this...

That's not really an answer to my question. If you're firing him to improve your odds, then who are you replacing him with right now?
comment in response to

Who replaces him? Who makes them a better squad right now? What is the thought process here? Or is it just a nebulous... you can't win it all with Thibs, so he's out and we'll figure it out from there?

So, here's my question to you, since you clearly want me or others to take you seriously.
You do a move like this to get better, right? That's why you do this. This is the most success this franchise has seen in 25 years, but you want the Finals, yeah? You want a chip?
WHO are they firing him for?

James Dolan burner.

Effectively since October, due to a hurricane. Then that was going to be turned off in January and it was kept on for the Los Angeles fires.
Our last bid was in December. I'd basically given up hope that we'd get a new house.

Resubbing to this for a year as soon as I get paid. This still makes me very happy to hear.
