This gets at a surreal dynamic I have with the left here. Revealed preferences suggest I have a much more dire view of how bad things could possibly get in America. There’s sort of an implicit assumption that things can’t get X levels of oppressive involved in feeling safe enough to feel that way.

Churches and religions call converting people to their way of thinking as good works for humanity. It's simply not, its simply expanding their reach to guilt more people into giving them money. Going to poor countries and spreading religion is pointless and unhelpful.

Sure, Cuomo's bagel order is bad but you know what's worse? The fact that he resigned in disgrace after sexually harassing a dozen women, is still using taxpayer dollars to destroy them, and sent thousands of seniors to die in nursing homes during COVID and then covered it up.
