Timing is everything. Pro-democracy Americans are battling a fascist takeover. A forensic exam of Biden's presidency & decision to run for a 2nd term can wait.

Tapper got "Musked"... as a verb, to "Musk" means to alienate the core consumers of your product.

No uniforms? No IDs? Any flannel-wearing slob off the street with a facemask can kidnap humans to ship off to black sites? This is not America.

Neither. I think I was clear, but if you don't understand, that's okay. Be well.

2/2 A single "random" criminal act of terrorism by a foreign radical group, is not the same as a rogue American government turning against its own citizens, creating new "law" to spread fear and suffering to please its figurehead. So yeah, the graphic is sensational, but metaphor is way off.

I am the descendant of Holocaust survivors. The Holocaust was the culmination of a sweeping far right political movement led by a single figurehead, which IMO, parallels Trumpism & Trump. GOP House members just approved deportation of citizens; so-called enemies of the state. That becomes law. 1/2

Maybe the sting of that metaphor will dissipate in a hundred years, but eye-witnessing the towers fall from the Hudson's edge, smelling toxic fumes of chemicals & death for weeks from my apt, having lost coworkers, and for many more reasons, no I don't think this one's too fucking clever.

That kind of thinking, IMO, elected Trump because discontented "no fair primary" Dems stayed home.FWIW, I loved Kamala- she was a different candidate in 2024 than 2020. We'll never know if she would have won or lost a primary we never had.

I love Pete. But an America that passed on a brilliant biracial woman cannot be trusted to vote for him. Too many fucking idiots.

Same here! There's a lot wrong with deputizing a private social media company to administrate a government entitlement program- the assumption that all SS recipients are internet users is just one!

We can beat his ass without this kind of disinformation- not only doesn't it help, but it'll get you sued for defamation.
