The EU petition has been running for nearly a year now, and its down to its last month, but have half the votes needed.
I'm not sure how over 450k votes will be acquired in the next 30ish days when it took 11 months to get as far as it did.
I suppose there's nothing wrong with trying, though.

Hear me out here. The trees may be living things, but a forest, as a collection of trees and the animals living in their proximity - that a label for a region of space. It isn't alive.
Therefore, being lost in a forest isn't endo, any more than the microbes on a floor make a room a living thing.

I'm pretty sure some of them are hoping you do anything that makes it looks like you are hostile so they can justify shooting you first. It's a common problem with police officers in the US, they are literally trained to consider all potential detainees a potential threat to their life and react.

Certain US states have something called 'castle doctrine' which is intended to allow you to defend your home from intruders with lethal force, but in general I think it's a bad idea to pull a gun on ICE or police.
They are almost certainly better armed and armored than the average civilian.
