It’s not like Farage to make wild claims about policies that are going to make everything better that he has no intention of delivering. Well apart from that whole Brexit thing that still weighs us down.

You know we can see these posts out in the civilised world right?

Not really. I work on likelihoods based on appetite for impact. It’s unlikely a cadre of Generals are close to walking into the WhiteHouse to perform an act 30/35% of the population would vehemently oppose and a greater number wouldn’t accept as justifiable at this time. It would be a coup.

So highly unlikely you need to stop dreaming about it. A large proportion of the US will see it as a military coup and probably tip you into civil war. Things have to be sooooo much worse before it happens.

It’s a belief that there are no gods. And see how quickly you jump to defend your ‘none belief’ belief. It’s funny and atheist never see it, it’s a weird blind spot but most universal. BTW I’m neither, I’m just waiting to the end to see what happens. Lights out or harps on cloud, idgaf.

Thank you, you quickly proved my point :-)

Funny how atheists defend their belief as assuredly and strongly as those that do have belief systems though.

At some point it has to be recognised that doing so, isn’t a lol it difference or testing boundaries. It’s a deliberate decision to break the law.

Isn’t that the same as an American prison?

lol he didn’t pay Trump all those bribes for this to turn out another way than what he wants.

It’s the software that loads the device drivers to boot your computer. He’s refering to humanity as the process that launches our successor. Scary stuff. Hope it’s just the Ketamine talking.

A leader makes the difficult decisions. The Dems putting the Gov out of work isn’t a good look and makes the Dems look bad to red and blue. Trump would be overjoyed at the Dems distracting the country from what he’s really doing
comment in response to
post
I feel you! Probably no great solution to this one. We do need Dems to be more effective.
comment in response to
post
Just because Dems are not winning doesn’t seem the best reason to make things worse. Let’s say they did shut the gov down, what is the plan after that? Shooting yourself in the foot in protest because your are angry is dumb. Trump would be rubbing his hands in glee, does that sound like a good idea?
comment in response to
post
Indeed but what do the Dem’s win by shutting down the gov? There are no upsides and just comprise later after all the bad press. Let MAGA get hit hard and start the fight.
comment in response to
post
Unpopular opinion. He made the right move. You don’t need to convince Dems that Trump is awful, you need to convince MAGA. Dems shutting down the gov lets Fox feed for weeks with negative press with no benefits and distracts from what Trump is doing. What happens next is fully on the GOP

I wish it was as good as that sounded but looking at eh 6m, 1y, 5y charts shows a less dramatic picture. Most have just lost their Trump bump so far.

There’s a whole sociology lesson right there. Ironically the people willing to sacrifice so many lives for that second amendment are not going to recognise when its intended purpose is upon them….Makes it’s a mockery.

I’ve been thinking of the UK’s poor showing and I think it’s due to company cars and schemes where staff are not the direct owners to cancel an order. Certainly no one likes Musk here.

Yeah well, the US is going to spend all its gold buying air then its going to disappear.

How many investigations do they need! The guy who started this (British) has been struck off! He was being paid to promote a single vaccine instead of the MMR vaccine when he produced the first report linking autism and MMR. Then it was researched endlessly for decades with no evidence found.

It’s worse. It appears the US is now sharing the intelligence they have on Ukrainian positions with Russia improving the effectiveness of Russian missile strikes. The US fully switched sides.

This is normal. We have seen it in every country that abandoned democracy and moved to authoritarianism.

Also it appears he’s a bit of idiot. The visuals have been analysed and it’s largely an attack add on Trump with many references to his numerous failures. All over which seem to have gone over is head.

The Guardian got this wrong and it’s worse than they think. The man with a heavy security details that keeps attending rally’s with his young child on his shoulders, knows the risk of assassination. The kid is a bullet shield.
