Your piece reads like a diary entry of unrequited love. You don’t need to placate us with an occasional post. We’re surviving just fine without them. As for coming back to X, it’s a non-starter. I’m over the “prove it” game. Lastly, thanks for calling us awful in our own home. Classy.

Doesn’t sound suspect at all.

Gluttony in the Bible refers to the excessive and indulgent consumption of food and drink, which is condemned as sinful behavior. Scriptures like Proverbs 23:20-21 warn against overindulgence, emphasizing the importance of moderation and self-control in one's eating and drinking habits. Go figure.

It’s an irrational fear about difference. If you’re accepted as different, what does that make ME?

Can I apply for a copywriter position with the NYT? I believe the word you’re looking for is kidnapped, not detained.

Well, Stephen Miller is disjointed from reality so it kinda makes sense.

She has more responsibilities with her new role.

If I had to venture a guess, it would be on her knees with bright lipstick.

Doesn’t that seem inherent? Rent is completely supply/demand driven and property tax would likely be baked in. You’re paying to live there, which is regressive. Owning is less supply/demand driven (can negotiate price, get a fixed-rate mortgage, etc.) You’re paying on capital, which is progressive.

35 is the minimum age to hold the highest nation in the U.S., so the fact that the NYT thinks 33 is too young for a lower office is absurd at best.

I don’t think he’s capable of drawing lines for people to read between. It’s nice for him to think about other people for once, though. 🙃

I feel that one of the issues is the frequency of assessments. A house built next year will not be assessed at its full value until 2029. Nashville is growing so fast that it’s missing out on these property taxes. Unless, again, I’m missing something.
comment in response to post
Ben, maybe I’m missing something. Nashville homeowners are paying property taxes, and many will see increases if the mayor’s budget goes through. My assessed value is pretty darn close to what I’d get on the market. Are you advocating for even higher taxes?

FFS, Trump doesn’t write like this! Somewhere a short bald man is doing a Mr. Burns.

Which is probably a good thing, given the current situation. Puts it out of reach for most, though. How do we bridge that gap? I feel like a lot of companies would want “proof” before they’ll make the requested accommodations.
