Hope this is some relief to you.
There's a slow trickle to bsky and most left leaning people here already left for Mastodon. The frontend community seems too preoccupied with its own little dramas.

I was lucky that most people I was talking to on twitter moved to Bsky in one of 2 big waves. That didn't happen for many people in Europe and tech twitter still is a thing. It benefits from the network effect and folks not being affected. To many Europeans Elon and Trump are still just clowns

Thanks for investing the work into our convo here. Very helpful for a more objective view on what's going on.

True for myself, I almost regret classes exist, but there's plenty of people who like classes in the community and as soon as decorstors ship, someone will make them the main way their framework composes stuff.
Maybe nestjs

Enthusiasm in the community seems mostly gone too, but I bet decorstors shipping will trigger a new wave of frameworks/DX

I'm afraid using a linter for that is the only option for now.
I'd argue anything before stage3 should not be considered valid typescript output in that mode though.

The identities can be tied to being enthusiastic and passionate about the technology and its community instead.

Apple clearly decided to be a luxury brand a while back. Designer clothes are not practical and don't fit everyone. They exist so that people can show off proof they have money. This is the main usecase for iPhone now and apple clearly embraces it.

Happy birthday!
I was born a day earlier. But I remember in my 20s I saw you at a conference and you were already an accomplished speaker and all.
It's midnight but I'm reading the article now.

Why is twitter looking so messed up? It didn't have this textfield edge there when I was using it last year

Banksy museum is in the area and doesn't involve talking to anyone. I went there yesterday. Take a walk in the Tuinpark on the way.

I'm running my workshop today afternoon, but if someone wants to grab an early lunch in the area, I'll be going to maps.app.goo.gl/NqT8p9Tj8jEi...

Also, I got distracted by the term "cloudflare social workers" before my brain annotated words with color. 😂
