This 100%. I’m no fan of Druckmann, but I didn’t think what he said was controversial. It was the clear intent of the story as written!

It’s supposed to be for dishes that are typically slow cooked, in which case 45 min is basically instant. Also, make liberal use of the quick release valve to save even more time.
The “preheat” isn’t about heat, it’s about safely getting up to pressure.

I agree, but I do think it’s interesting when games like Shadow of the Colossus or Monster Hunter obfuscate enemy health so that it does feel like a desperate fight to the death. Of course, both games are great with animations giving feedback, which offsets the lack of explicit health displayed.

In Canada, both the Xbox and PS5 have gone up in price since launch. So I’m justifying buying Switch 2 at launch as a money saving measure, as silly as that sounds.

The issue is, what is happening now with Switch physical is that there are boxes on shelf today that has no cartridge, just a code that can only be used once. This game key is in fact the more consumer friendly compromise.

Yes you can. This has been cleared up several times by Nintendo.

Dunno, seems in line with the pricing of a PS5 or Steam Deck. Not sure why this is any different.

As it stands in 2025 with all the dlc and fixes, I think it’s one of my favorite games of this decade.

They’re going to make a thing over whatever we do. Better to just to do the right thing and include the land acknowledgment.

I always liked the bond that the Prince and Elika form in Prince of Persia from 2008. It even did The Last of Us’s ending years prior to that game, and I think, more effectively.

A guerrilla campaign by a population that can easily pass as the occupational force, and who knows their culture, politics, and infrastructure intimately. I’m sure that’ll be no problem to snuff out!

Stuff like this is why I still buy some games physical. That inventory has to move, it’s just a question of what price.

Always annoyed me when people put Diablo in the best games ever convo. It’s entirely a Skinner box loop with zero interesting decisions! The art and (some of) the story is neat, but there’s just not much of a game there.

I still do with Switch games!

Eh, they already split their audience via Xbox and PC, and they did call it right that hardware isn’t discounting like it used to. I’d argue the issues around Series S support has more to do with market share than technical.

It’s always a trip when the flight attendants are puzzled that you don’t want to eat or drink anything because of the mask. Like, full blue screen of death on their faces that I don’t want a cup of sprite or whatever.

It’s such a strange situation, in that previously when I owned a “failing” console, it was keenly felt in the lack of games and constant bundles and price cuts. But with my Series X? That thing keeps trucking along like nothing’s happening.

The fact he refuses to acknowledge trans women as women, based on the metric of how not attractive he finds them. Or that “putting the fork down” is useless advice that only further stigmatizes fat people. If you don’t understand the external factors leading to obesity, I suggest looking into it.

I listened to it, and I disagree. He sounds like an out of touch boomer talking about pronouns and that one rant about fat people needing to eat less is beyond tired. Yes, Em can spit technically complicated raps, but that’s been true forever. But a good album that does not make.
