Did you know our local paper still runs the daily TV listings? Also, they still print comics, which my kid loves reading when we do breakfast at the local shop.

Another win this week. Bedtime reading and the 8 year old asks “Can you pick one of the stories the rabbits tell each other in Watership Down and read that?” Friends, we read the chapter “Rowsby Woof and the Fairy-Wog-Dog” and it was a hit. I’ve rarely been happier.

Saturday night Halloween party options as a parent of young kids: 1. Great friends - 45 min drive. Party already has 90 guests (50% are kids); or 2. Neighbors live two houses down and party starts at 6. We don’t know many people but they have cool decorations. There really is no choice here.
