Was there an act of Congress to create the museum? If yes, it can’t be closed without congressional approval and action. Someone will hopefully pursue the limits of executive power…

Didn’t Stephen Miller’s wife left the White House to work for Musk? 😂

He did this to a trans West Point cadet in 2017. Cadet met all qualifications to graduate and commission until Trump disallowed service. It was heartbreaking for a cadet who wanted to serve and was qualified to do so. Inflicting cruelty is his way of life.

May his spirit haunt Hegseth till his dying day.

Amazing what happens when the consequences of actions aren't identified beforehand ... but when you fire all the personnel who have the experience and knowledge to do so ... well, yeah, you get burned.

Who have we become? Who have we placed in power? This is petty and mean. Kudos to those spreading a message of pride, inclusion, and persistence.

Well, fwiw, Trump and Elon and Hegseth, and Gabbard, and Rubio have fired/terminated everyone who could have answered any of your questions. So we're flying blind and any advantage is unknown and unknowable.

A good dad joke is needed every now and again. Thnx.

and this doesn't include the costs to poor and middle class of reduced availability of safe food, medicine, workplaces, etc. because agencies that guard our safety and improve health have been decimated.

but an absolute distraction from the cuts to Medicaid, osha, food & drug inspections, the availability and efficacy of Covid and vaccines, safety of our banking and securities systems. People will die and the middle class and poor will suffer under this regime. Don’t get distracted by stupidity.

At this point who cares. Stop what is happening NOW.

Drugs. They’ll mess you up. Stuff happens and you blame a five year old.

I am no longer tuning in to cnn at all ever. If I need up to the minute news, lots of other options without supporting a network that is keeping someone who is willingly spreading misinformation

let's wait to see where and if the new plant is built and when and if current facilities are upgraded.

Oh, Congress has a say - perhaps enshrined in the Constitution - to determine the necessity and amount of tariffs at times of peace and general prosperity. Gosh. Shocking.

Oh but Federalist Society response could be very entertaining to watch unfold.

First time I've posted this, but oh this could be fun!

of course it did. I guess we're leaving policymaking to AI?

If he thinks Florida's services are better, he is an example of "tell me you never sent your kids to public school without telling me you can never relate to average Americans."

Setting up to make money on a bail out at taxpayer expense when the public discovers bitcoin is a scam and essentially worthless. But first, he'll sell to the US Govt at a steep mark-up after he mandates that the Fed maintain a reserve in bitcoin ...

That would be a worthwhile deal!

I've been to a couple (as a parent and friend) - and it was a kind and appreciated gesture when offered. Though the best was General Dempsey, a great speech, a song and a dollar. Mine was not in that class but fun to watch while I waited for the long ride home.

And for them to know that Biden and Obama took the time to thank each graduating cadet for his or her service and congratulate them - but this shameful oaf left to play golf. I still feel sorry for them for having to sit through it.

If wiki is accurate, then Martin's performative bs doesn't matter - five are serving state sentences and a federal pardon won't erase those - but will remove them from likely better operated federal prisons to the Michigan state system. Good luck with that.

Are there state charges held in abeyance? Or was there a second state trial/conviction?
comment in response to post
Always good for a laugh and readily disposed of with a one page order.

Must have been hard to sit through the keynote (what a disaster) and then watch him leave without shaking hands with every cadet. Glad you were there to offer some cadets an example of their oath and motto.

He sent my daughter a VP coin and a letter of thanks during her deployment to Afghanistan. A good man and leader.

FWIW this is when he is positioned to congratulate and shake hands with every grad as they come up on the stage for diploma and commissioning certificate. Obama did; Biden did. Trump failed to in both his first term and again failed to today. Sec. Army took over. What an ungrateful shameful POS.

He's just relitigating his rejection letters ... small dick energy seeking retribution - and to him, it doesn't matter what he destroys.

This is the message to get on the air in every outlet.

I meant, Yes!!
comment in response to post
Yes? This data and message is what we need to get out. Average Americans will pay more get far less for health and worker safety, education, clean water and air, maintained roads, food safety and inspections, etc. The rich can likely buy their way out of most of the gaps. Average Americans can't

Tim Cook's "donation" of $1 million for inauguration - money well spent? Price of extortion appears to be much higher in the second round. Those who can should finally act to buy the ad space and lobbyists to finish this administration.

How many will die or have serious health complications before they change the policy? Will corps make the vaccine for such a small population and what will it cost? This is evil.

How much blood money did he take post-khashoggi? Not one bit of sympathy for him.

Remind me again - I'm old - but who was president before Biden?
comment in response to post
And those at the lower end would suffer the most from the dismantling of the federal government in terms of medical research and care, available safe food and water, worksite safety inspections, etc etc etc - so they'd pay more and get far far less.
comment in response to post
And at the same time getting FAR less services for those who need it - medicaid, roads, food/water inspections, labor safety ... the things that matter to working people and their families. So pay more, get less, but let the very rich make out like the bandits some are.
