I had the same when I was younger. Walking in town and some bloke said alright Ned!! And waves. So familiar but I could not - for years- figure out who he was …who the hell was that??? I thought at one point was he some sort of guardian angel .. Used to work for my step dad. Painter and decorator.

Yeah I get you. As I said on the radio I’m down the road from clacton and he’s done F all - same BS as when he was an MEP turned up for 4 sessions on fishing out of 700 and pretending he’s all for the working people. My mums side is Cornish and that a county that needs a *big hand up.

Thank you! One day I’ll afford the floral one! It’s a nice guitar but my number one is the Gilbert. It’s got a very special tone.

Yes. I want the IRD to replace the pre in my jubilee whilst still using the power amp of the head with 2 cabs. 👍
comment in response to post
True. The odd thing is the IR cab sims actually sound really good my 2x12s they add a nice EQ! I can turn them off via the software 😎

Thanks man. Really appreciate your help. My replies out of sync as well. Lemme have a look.

Ah - yeah I’m not looking to run it all in front of a clean amp like Gilbert. Using the amp as the dirt so time based after and the pod has a lot of OD and wha that I use. I need the IRD to slot in some where ….
comment in response to post
Can’t work out where / how to plug the IRD into the chain so it bypasses my jubilee pre amp but uses the power amp. This is the Friedman manual but it has lots of pedals and other stuff. The answer is something between the 2? I want to use all the pod time stuff post pre amp but all the pods OD b4

Ah so happy for you. We read in the UK it hadn’t survived. Love to you and family and all those that weren’t so lucky xxx

The honest thing now is the modelling is so good now it sounds like a good recorded guitar. Went down my mates studio a while back and plugged DI in through a logic plugin and it was great. No more pissing around with mics and rooms/ volume to get a good tone.

Hey! It’s brilliant. I’ve got Marshall’s and 2 x 12s and a Pod go on the floor. Good tones. This thing- same as the pod. Play along with the backing tracks and you’re in the mix. All balances nicely.

If it helps, I worked in a guitar shop and we sold squires and aria acoustics for beginners. Every week got a delivery of 10 strats and one of them was always better then the rest. If I’m buying a guitar and they have multiple in on the rack I’ll try them all and see what one sits with me.
