My great-grandfather fled from Ukraine in 1929 after he was falsely arrested, imprisoned, and tortured by the Soviets. He managed to escape and smuggled his family to Canada with the help of a cousin and friend. I'm alive because they survived. #FamilyHistory #StandWithUkraine
